I look forward to seeing them finished by 3pm then given your usual speed!
Unfortunately, I still have the last few Slann on the painting table, so their just going to have to wait until next week when I'm off, which gives me the opportunity to get the other Dragon ogres out of the attic, so they can all get done at the same time:)

They look good ... not that I should, but do Fenris have them up on their site yet? :)

Tough. If I was painting it I'd say the shield on the right would suit a rusted look and the one on the left a cleaner "painted enamel style armour" - look. So if you've got a "clean" ogre in mind maybe the left shield, if it's a more weathered ogre in mind I'd opt for the right.

I guess at least you could leave the shield off easily enough until the end!

Damn I'm going to have to Ian a call and get some of these ... they look too good and my odds of getting the classic Citadel one are not high.

Thanks for the advice, as I've yet to decide the 'look', time will tell.
As for the classic Dragon ogre if you prepared to wait they do turn up on ebay and I don't think I've paid over £40 including postage for mine.

if feeling indecisive (I have a HUGE problem making up my mind on alot of stuff.. one reason for slow painting time), tiny magnets ^_^

I was beginning to wonder what I would need to do to lift the paint job on these classic figures, happy with what the black and gold edging has done. Just the basing and varnishing to do.

Very nice ^_^
Side off-topic note, What happened to the ones you sculpted, Fimm? wasn't that for a company more then private?

The intention was to sell them, but I don't know of that ever happened. I got my sculptor's copies but never heard anything else about them.
