Teufelsberg, or old school, hand-made models.

Gallery: Teufelsberg.

If you follow the DansE MacabrE or Warheim FS page on Facebook, you could already see photos showing the completed models of Teufelsberg village, which will become the battlefield in Warheim FS.

Now the time has come for the photos to be published on the blog as well. Due to the number of photos, I decided to present each of the models separately, and in addition to the previously presented photos, each of the elements of the terrain will be presented to you in separate, previously not presented photos.

Valorization and construction of buildings model took me over a year, and as a result, enough terrain elements were created to fill two tables for Warheim FS.

The whole project started with the collection of Archetypical Village organized by Tereny do Gier, in which I participated, and soon I came into possession of models of Prussian wall buildings, which served as the basis for the valorization of the buildings.

Below you will find three guides in which I have presented step by step my way of making individual building elements.
- Prussian wall
- Tile
- Thatch

In the meantime, there was a misunderstanding between Tereny do Gier and Lasercut Buildings, a company that turned out to produce laser-cut HDF buildings model. I do not know the details of the dispute, but at least I found out about the existence of the latter company and thanks to this I came into possession of several more models, including a windmill.

With breaks for other projects, work on the Teufelsberg models took just over a year, and more details were added to the terrain elements.

Finally, in the pictures showing Teufelsberg you will find, apart from the companies mentioned above, also elements from Dunkeldorf Miniatures, HQ Resin, Kromlech, Micro Art Studio, Mini Monsters, Noch, Ristuls Extraordinary Market, Rubicon Models, Scibor MM, SpellCrow and Warhead Studio and Warlord Games.

I also built shooting targets, wells, cheese house and fruit trees, which I also put on models.

And that's about it, as an introduction to the series presenting ready-made models of the village of Teufelsberg to Warheim FS.

I've made one of my plans and I finally have a complete set of buildings model for games outside the walls, so it's time to move on to another one and build the ruins of the City of the Damned.

Meanwhile, I invite you to follow the gallery, which should appear on the pages of the blog, every two weeks on Thursdays..

Gallery: Teufelsnerg. Inn.

Two weeks ago, I presented you with photos of completed models of the Teufelsberg village, which will become the site of the skirmishes in Warheim FS.

Today I have the first of the entries for you in which you can take a better look at individual mockups.

The first of the models is the Inn, after all, it is usually the first building visited by hikers coming to the settlement.

The fence in the photos is Picket Fence Set # 1 by Rubicon Models, while the stacks of crates are Ware Piles Boxed Set for Micro Art Studios.

The bread box, like the sign, is probably HQ Resin, and the bag of potatoes is from Mini Monsters, and the cat lying above the sign is probably from Dunkeldorf Miniatures.

The mushrooms, on the other hand, come from the Goblin Forest Toadstools by Kromlech and the 108 Mushrooms Set by SpellCrow.

Conifers were produced by Noch, I made larger fruit trees myself, and I bought smaller ones at Allegro.

I have put some wanted posters on the walls, which you can download and print at home.

I also invite you to the DansE MacabrE blog where you will find links to the reviews of the above-mentioned products and guides. You can find the blog HERE.

This village holds so much atmosphere, it evokes the season, gray sky, damp weather...
I am very impressed!

Masterful work! Now where is everybody gone? ;)

Thank you very much. I think there will soon be some brave daredevils who will decide to check it out. ;)

Brilliant work. It makes me feel the year drawing to a close and the dark forests surrounding the village are beginning to loom. Great atmosphere in those models.

Thank you for the pictures and tutorials. The details are making the models really outstanding. I will copy that for my townscape models. Your roof tile solution seems also superior to the pizza cardboard variant which I used for the old Modelling Workshop models. And your Prussian wall tutorial will save me a lot of time in further projects. I masked the timber work with painter tape, to protect the wood surface from the filler. Seems this isn't necessary.

Gallery: Teufelsnerg. Farm I.

Two weeks ago, I presented you with photos of the inn, and today I have photos of the first farm for you.

The farm consists of two buildings. The first is House III, the second is the Barn.

The fence visible in the photos is Picket Fence Set # 1 by Rubicon Models, and the barrels and bench are from various manufacturers, probably including HQ Resin and Micro Art Studios, and the potato sack is from Mini Monsters.

The geese come from sets by Warlord Games, including Farmyard Animals.

The mushrooms, on the other hand, come from SpellCrow's 108 Mushrooms Set.

Pumpkins and sunflower seeds most likely from Terena do Gier.

The conifers were produced by Noch, and the fruit trees I made myself.

I also invite you to the DansE MacabrE blog, where you will find links to the reviews of the above-mentioned products and guides. You can find the blog HERE.

Gallery: Teufelsberg. Farm II.

The farm consists of two buildings: the House and the Granary.

The fence in the photos is Log Fence Set # 1 by Rubicon Models, while the stacks of crates are Ware Piles Boxed Set for Micro Art Studio.

The barrels come from various producers, and the straw bundle, the trunk with the ax and the wheelbarrow are most likely elements from Terena do Gier.

The mushrooms, on the other hand, come from the Goblin Forest Toadstools sets by Kromlech and the 108 Mushrooms Set by SpellCrow.

Conifers were produced by Noch, I made larger fruit trees myself, and I bought smaller ones at Allegro.

And the fallen cattle are Dead Cattle Terrains by Ristuls EM.

Gallery: Teufelsberg. Barn I.

Welcome to the next post about the village of Teufelsberg to Warheim FS. So far, I had the pleasure to present you the inn and the first and second farm, and today you can see the barn.

The fence visible in the photos is Picket Fence Set # 1 by Rubicon Models. The barrels come from a variety of manufacturers, and the animals are part of the Farmyard Animals set from Warlord Games. The mushrooms, on the other hand, come from the Goblin Forest Toadstools sets by Kromlech and the 108 Mushrooms Set by SpellCrow. However, a kick of straw and a sunflower are most likely a set from Terena do Gier. Conifers were produced by Noch, I made larger fruit trees myself, and I bought smaller ones on the auction site.

Gallery: Teufelsberg. House I

The fence visible in the photos is Picket Fence Set #1 by Rubicon Models, the barrels come from various manufacturers, and the apple crate, just like the raven on the chimney, is from HQ Resin, and you can find a review of the Ravens basing kit on The Fantasy Hammer blog. On the other hand, heaps of straw and vegetables are from Tereny do Gier.

The mushrooms, on the other hand, come from the Goblin Forest Toadstools sets by Kromlech and the 108 Mushrooms Set by SpellCrow, the latter set I reviewed HERE.

Conifers were produced by Noch, I made larger fruit trees myself, and I bought smaller ones at Allegro.
