Hi all

AGain, just getting a feel from the community about the sort of thing that would be most appreciated.

These options are not set in stone, but rather as a guideline as to what sort of thing people want from BOYL 2014. I have specifically allowed only 2 votes each in order to force priorities. That's not to say that all the things won't be considered or even available - this is more about choosing where to focus our limited resources when organising the event. If the primary thing turns out to be socialising, it will be a very different event to one where everyone wants to play in one big massive game! Both are valid options and are probably equally enjoyable, so that's why I want to force priorities.

There is an 'Other' option - if you're not happy with the options, say so - I am happy to change or restart the poll based on how the community sees fit :)

Skirmish for me. Its easy, and relatively simple to prepare for and of course gives you plenty of time to natter with other Oldhammerers and drool over old school collections from far and wide.

Big game and bring and buy for me.

Would also be interested in entering any painting competition if there was one.

Once again though I would also like to get involved with smaller games, Blood Bowl, Heroquest, nattering and socialising and a million and one other things that can't be squeezed into one weekend!

Bring and buy + occassional lesser games (Blood Bowl, skirmishes etc).

I've got a green light from the Mrs, so I'm hoping for a BB game Thants! ;)

That's great news - how are you getting over?

You know we're in York so if you need to split the journey up you're more than welcome round our gaff.

It'll be good to give the Slann in Spacer's or the Wateland Wanderers another outing!

Flying, solo. I actually did invite my wife and son to tag along but she declined. =D I'm probably heading straight to whatever airport is closest to Nottingham, so no visit in York - unless it's much cheaper for me to get to York and hitch a ride with you. =) I have no idea what my arrangements will be right now.

Good news phreedh.

I'd like to do a big game but am also considering bringing the only other published 3rd ed scenario to the one I've already done....

Erny - Is that the one where the Gobbo's can roll giant snowballs down at the Dwarves or something similar - can't remember the name of the scenario but I've got the WD it's featured in somewhere.

Phreedh - let me know if I can be of assistance at all once you know what you're doing.

Ah OK make that the only other Scenario I knew about. Clearly I'm missing one.

The one I'm considering is the Siege of Caraz-Lumba.

I'll have a rummage through my old WD's when I get home from my hols (currently up in the Lakes) although I'm sure someone else will wade in with the name of the scenario before then - I'm sure Orlygg might have even featured it on his blog at some point?

Siege of Caraz-Lumba is new to me though!

I have Blood on the Snow up on my blog, but I remember another one too. Dwarfs were involved in an old stone fort. Somewhere in the WD 80s if memory serves.

I would love to play in a medium game. I was planning on bringing my whole army. The more I think about it though. It would probably be a lot simpler bringing a smaller skirmish force on a plane. So am leaning towards that thought as of right now. I am still up in the air as to my final decision. Will probably wait to see what you guys come up with much closer to the day. However if all goes according to plan. I will just be happy being there and will be open to however the day unfolds.

I vote for a Nudehammer wet tee contest! Mr James Essex (Orlygg) would end up winning it though

Hi all

Just a reminder that this poll will be approaching its conclusion soon - I'd still be interested in any uncast votes...
