My Rogue Trader fanart and inspired stuff.

I don't have anyone to play with and I no longer have passion to sit down and sculpt/paint for hours, so my interest in Rogue Trader besides modding Final Liberation manifested itself in drawing stuff.

I was drawing RT fanart mainly between 2008 and 2010 when I was in advertisement school.

Somewhere in 2009 I've seen Imperial Armour: Siege of Vraks and got interested in WWI. Especially in WWI and interwar tanks.
Since that time I have collected a quite big collection of military history books about that period.

I was pretty dissatisfied with rubber forehead aliens of RT and generally I didn't like the direction it took with Realms of Chaos. So, taking inspiration from the whole idea of the warp creatures, I started working on my own stuff in a retro-sci-fi setting on Mars. Soviets and Entente landed there somewhere around 2000 and started colonizing it.
Sadly, the barrier between astral plane and reality was especially thin there and the religious Entente soon fell prey to astral parasite infestation.

The setting featured massive land navies, rocketships, power armoured land naval infantry, etc.
I made a mod for Armored Brigade based on it. Here are a few screenshots:

Around 2010, after the advertisement school school, I got back to using gel pens and started drawing more sci-fi stuff with grotesque power armours with gratuitous cabling and piping inspired by works of Wil Rees:

Recently, I went for gothic science-fantasy where instead of mecha, there are actual armoured gods (inspired by Wh40k and Neon Genesis Evangelion) and angels:

It's related to my earlier ideological work which conjured especially evil armoured figures.

Could you just please add the IMG tool on your image links so that they appear right away for us lazy folks please ? This forum is not convenient with links so it's easier to see pics directly ;)
Thanks

Ok. Modified it.

I'm doing RT-inspired works in several of directions. Main are:

Technobarbarism.
Hardish sci-fi. Very brutal and inhumane future.

Mars 2019A.D.
Retro Science fantasy. Humanity has landed on Mars somewhere in XXth century. Settlements were built by two main powers - Soviet Union and Entente. After some time it turned out that barrier between astral plane and reality is especially thin on Mars and highly religious people attract attention of Angels and other astral creatures.
Entente suffers from high rate of possessions and becomes taken over by with astral aliens.
Soon, a war between powers starts...

Radium Feudalism
Retro science fantasy. Feudal fantasy in space. Don't have much specific ideas now.

Others are secret for now.

what's going on with the kneeling guy?
Shotgun shot to the mouth while being held in place impaled on spikes or blades or whatever is on the end of these tentacles.

Your blog layout/formatting is very off putting. The dark red background makes the drawings very indistinct. I think you need to switch to a white background otherwise it is almost impossible to see what you have drawn in any detail.

I can hardly comment as I can't draw for toffee but if you're after feedback...

Your style is a bit chaotic for my taste. I prefer it all a bit cleaner.

I added black and white drawings to my Radium Feudalism works because apparently many people have hard time seeing them in red:

A quick attempt at colouring a knight drawing:

A skech of a new version of one of my older works, this time with cross-hatching style I copied from Wil Rees works:

I made these putting special care to clarity. The The second two were some of the first larger format drawings that I made - 1st is A4 and 2nd is A3.

This one was inspired by Siege of Sarajevo.

Are the ones linked in this post any less chaotic?

I just learned that on some people's monitors my blog displays as obnoxious bright red, not toned-down darkish red. I don't know why. I have print outs of my works and none of them are bright red :? .

So, I've started a second, black and white blog.
