A little experiment in paper ships:

More on the blog, of course. But you get the idea. It's a little boxy, but even with my decidedly hasty and inexpert build it's not unusable. Works well in backgrounds.

I hadn't commented here for a while, but I have to say it's quite a delightful set what you are mustering here. Really charming!

Just went back and reread all the posts on this thread. Loads on nice stuff here. Don’t know where to start giving praise but am jealous of your Eldar, slann, the card spacecraft, loads of the kickstarter stuff! Great style and choices - more please!

Thank you Sleepysod! I wish I had more of both the Eldar and Slann to tell you the truth, but I'm darn glad I've picked up what I've scrounged over the years. The card spacecraft is free, though. Takes some time and effort to put it together, of course, but it's not as difficult as you might think. It's just paper, so you print it (I did use heavier paper) and follow the instructions.

Genet Models

It's specifically the VT-3 Pinzgauer. Better yet? They have it in like six color schemes, many based on cargo airlines.

That is a truly awesome collection of ork bots!
Time to field those in an arena with flamers and buzz saw traps!

Ooh! I think you've just invented the next Blood Bowl!

So I'm a little behind on updating this. Many of you will have already seen most or all of it, but . . .

First, I painted up a Jess Goodwin stealer. (First in my troop.)

Here he is with the rest of the gang:

Next I built myself a toy fuel truck for primitive spaceport duty.

You can read the details of the build in the post Fuel in the Bowser. I posted the in progress pictures on the WIP thread here, but I go into more detail on the blog.

There's two different ones now, the "grok" above and a "bullock" that's supposed to be LESS tame and MORE mean than the Grok! :o

Wow! Just discovered your blog. My guardsmen would feel very much home at Tartarus Rim. Perhaps I'll name their regiment 2nd Tartarian infantry reg... Or something like that... (is Tartarian Even a word in english...)

^Your 2nd Tartarians would be most welcome on my table. And hey, it's a word now. A perfectly good demonym. (More attractive than the unofficial "Rimmer" or the downright insulting "Rim Jobber." Or "Jobber" for short.)

Anyway, some new art. I did mention that you'd inspired me to buy some guard, right?

There's some descriptive prose from the point of view of a squad sergeant named Angad in Oh, I Looked Over Jordan: A Soldier's View of Paradise, but the art is the same.

Most or all of these popped up in a battle report elsewhere, but a few new additions to this thread:

(Yeah, yeah, it's a big beak of a nose, but I've never done a face before, so . . . It's a rescue miniature. I'll count it a success. Besides, I have a somewhat similar beak on my own face. Not quite so "heroic," but generally close.)

Thank you Sleepysod! :) That was a tough one as he had no face when I got him. Made him a new one. It's . . . crude. But it will do. At least from some angles. ;)
