Thank you!
They were very fun to paint.

But a pain to assemble. Tiny breathing tube pieces meant to run from the shoulder to the mask? Ahh!

They are great models. Are the nose rings part of the original sculpts?

They are.
These are some of the models from Diego/Obscure Creators kickstarters.

Re: Squat Mercenaries

Well done! I suppose I really ought to paint mine one of these days. It's really terrible that lovely new stuff ends up consigned to the leadpile because there's just so much lovely new stuff and so little time.

Re: Squat Mercenaries

Solid paintjobs on some characterful miniatures. These might be the best display pictures of 40k minotaurs I've stumbled across. Thanks for that! The details are surprisingly good. Nice work on the squats, particularly the pickelhaube. And that background introduction... :D

Much appreciated, KNC. I'm especially flattered you think these are the best display pictures of 40k minos you've seen.
Begins to make me feel like I should track down some of the RT-era ones that inspired these sculpts . . . anyone know how the size compares?

EDIT: These minos are the first of the "subcontractors" identified in the introductory fluff.

Re: Squat Mercenaries (now with space minotaur allies)

I've now painted four hearthguard. Though given that these represent a squat mercenary force, perhaps they're junior partners in the enterprise?

Up next . . . One of the unreleased squat cyberslayers!

That's a nice take on some classic miniatures. :)
