That's a lovely miniature.

Can I ask what recipe you are using for the red? It is very vivid.
Is it painted up from a black base?

Thank you!

The base coat is actually Vallejo Grey Acrylic-Polyurethane Surface primer.
On that I put Citadel Mephisto red. Everything is washed with Agrax. Then I do some "cleaning up" or first highlights using Mephisto red again.
After that I wash all read parts with Bloodletter Glaze. When it´s dried I do final highlights with Evil Suns Scarlet and Wild Rider Red.

White parts are just White on Agrax washed base coat. Metals are Leadbelcher.

Although I have never personally understood the appeal of Eldar, that is the nicest painted one I have seen in years (possibly ever)!

The obsession people have for Malkavians in Vampire the Masquerade was something I never got either.

Someone please explain these things!
