O.K. So i have been rather adverse to painting since i got back in to toy soldier bothering a few years ago. For some reason a spate of lost mojo and its subsequent return has made me look at my approach to all things hobby and attempt to put paint to miniature. What I want to do is build two small warbands for a narrative type campaign i have some ideas for and then see if i fancy doing some more to expand the whole thing. I have so far finished the warbands core troops so i thought I would share here to get some tips and indeed hints on how to improve my rather primitive brush 'skills'.
The minis i have used are all 20mm plastics from a wide range of manufacturers including Airfix, Mini Art, Revell and Strellets and the paints/brushes are all cheep artists supplies (mostly 'borrowed' from my ever so patient wife). Heres the First Group, A band of wrong'uns by the name of the Mud Hole posse lead by the notorious sell sword 'The Crimson Git':
