^Ooh, not sure how I missed these. Love the Outlanders/Me and My Shadow stuff. And Juggenfloot. And the IG, for that matter. Well done!

Cheers Symphonic Poet. :grin: The incredibly slow progress I make in my hobby has been offset slightly by some finished models;

20190619_183629.jpg

Eldar Scouts!

20190619_183731.jpg

From Craftworld Ulthwe, these chaps always bring their own turf to stand on wherever they go.

20190619_183532.jpg

Above the knee leather boots often give the wrong impression on the battlefield.

For more frightfully indifferent prose about them, click on the clickbait here.

I understand slow progress. (Especially during the summer. I always bog down in the summer lately, no matter how hard I try. Too many family obligations.) But all progress is progress, and the scouts look fabulous!

More Eldar (or Aeldari, if you're a heretic ;) ) have been completed;

Group shot.

Their weapons are pretty illegal in current 40k but as I don't intend playing in a tournament I should be grand.

In an old White Dwarf there was some deathworld plants. I finally made my own Catachan Brainleaf;

20191007_201451.jpg

And some Genestealers using new Citadel contrast paints.

20191109_121050.jpg

Also some desert camo Genestealers, mainly so I can differenciate between units in a battle!

Like the Brainleaf, which WD was it? And glad to see your desert Stealers, my hybork ones are green why shouldn't such an adaptable creature fit it's environment?

Something that may interest you guys. I finally painted up three Mantic Games Ogres from their Nameless faction for Deadzone. I used citadel contrast paints and I think they came out pretty well.

I will be using them (hopefully) as proxies for Ambulls in some sort of Rogue Trader/Seaworld games, and in 40k they can be proxied as Dark Eldar Talos engines where the Haemonculus alters his creations to look like creatures from the deep. Anyhow if you want to see the fluff I've created for 40K here is the link.

They are perfect as ambull substitutes.... ideas ideas
Time to do a battle featuring Ambull/Turdcrab tunnels?

I love your fluff on the blog too. Not only are these great models, but you've told a heck of a fun story with them. :)
Thanks very much.

Some more progress has been made in my battle against the unpainted!
