Thanks. I'm using him as the mascot for my Valhallan platoon, sort of counts as another trooper for the purposes of gaming. It's an interesting sculpt as it has hooves and plenty of baggage on it. I'm not really happy about the hooves painted as metal shoes so a more traditional beige colour will be applied and a bit of higlighting on the eyes, I used the Citadel technical paint and as the eye domes are very big it needs more work done to it. Good job i haven't varnished them yet. :)

Recently finished some models from Blind beggar miniatures, i think they have a certain Oldhammer charm.

Despite the fact Legiocustodes beat me to it today, here are some Catachans I finished during the recent snow days caused by storm Emma.

Nice Catachans too!

I especially like the varied skin tones on them.

I recently finished up my Mantic landing pad. As I was too cheap to buy the GW Skyshield Landing Pad, I decided to go for the more affordable option. I must admit though, the Mantic kits are really well designed so it was a win win for me. Cheap and very versatile. I see the Mantic version as a cheap way for spendthrift planetary governors to have a private shuttle dock in their palaces and countryside getaways without getting ripped off by those shysters in the Adeptus Mechanicus with the far more expensive version.

Stenciling servitors are also pretty cheap.

Eldar this time! I saw this colour scheme on here and decided to copy it.

eldar%2B017.JPG

Eldar Guardians, I don't think armour that looks like panties are very practical though.

eldar%2B019.JPG

Some proper old Eldar.

eldar%2B021.JPG

Bossy Eldar

eldar%2B023.JPG

Shuriken, you know it makes sense!

eldar%2B025.JPG

Various lethal and not so lethal Eldar equipment.

Artillery operator (I need to paint that up next).

eldar%2B027.JPG

A Farseer and Warlock after they've had an arguement.

Eldrad Ulthran.

Nice and crisp colours on those Eldars - they look very good.

I also agree about the charm of the Blindbeggars aliens. They look like the type of people you could meet at the Mos Eisley Cantina :)

For my Rogue Trader/40K games I finished some deathworld flora, or is that fauna? I forget. Anyway some terrain that can hopefully kill models at inconvenient but hilarious junctures. :)

20180523_172248.jpg

Catachans calmly ignore the nasty alien plant.

20180523_172352.jpg

YTS trooper Terry blunders straight into it however....

Some more terrain has been made to aggravate the little men (and women) that inhabit my gaming table. It's more Deathworld Flora and some not so lethal plantlife too;

Some jungle trees.

Great work love the yellows wish I could get that depth my always look washed out.
Thanks very much. I usually paint on a base coat of sulphur desert yellow (considering how old my pot is you'd better look for an equivalent) then a Vallejo soft tone wash with highlighting up with Bad Moon Yellow (or similar). :)

@JonAtron Cheers and hopefully I can get some more jungle stuff done soon.

@daddyorchips Ta mate.
