Ork Boss and Nobles

Here are some photos of some orks I painted.
I'd like to hear any thoughts about the paint jobs, or the photography.
Thanks

The pics are maybe too bright, but nothing to be bothered about (the usual thing for all of us is taking too dark photos!). I love all of them, the paintjob is clean and full of personality. Really nice yellows!

I particularly like the first fellow. Lovely pattern work on his helmet and trim. An alltogether nice group. :)

Love the paintjob on the plasmagun. It glows.

Proper Orky. Like the yellow what did you use and on what undercoat?

Re: Ork Boss and Nobles

Thank you all for the comments.

The figures are primed with a grey auto/homestore rattle can primer. The yellows for the armor are individually mixed and layerd/blended from various citadel paints old and new. Tau sept yellow, bubonic brown, and an ancient bad moon yellow, being the three colors that I remember. I also used sepia and brown inks and washes. Not really a recipe; I figure that orks paint their armor individually and don't have much use for uniformity of color shades in their bands/units.
