Rogue Trader Suspensors?

As the title suggests, I was wondering if there's ever been an image of what a suspensor looks like?

I know some characters can possess quite a few, so they must be small. Curious

They're the disks on the ankles of the old metal, and recent plastic, Space Marine heavy weapon chaps.

Thanks fellas,

I've gotta put four of them on Kulo, and I couldn't for the life of me ever remember seeing one.

I'll have a hunt around the web for a good pic, now that I know what I'm looking for.

Cheers :)

Haven't been able to find a clear picture of one as of yet....still looking though :(

The recent 30th birthday of Space Marines WD Weekly had a really interesting article on the design history of power armour with lots a little facts provided by Jes and others. The suspensors are one of the little details called out.

Thanks for the tip Andy. Unfortunately for me though I live in a place akin to a galaxy far far away. No hope or chance of sighting any WD publications here. Hopefully someone on this here good forum will be able to furnish us with a few snippets of the article?

Granted it's not the clearest picture, but I guess it's these ankle adornments on RT6:

Oddly, the original text says they go on the equipment which sort of makes more sense than the ankles of the artillery crew - as the suspensor makes the heavy thing lighter, anti-grav on the ankle would likely make the crewman float around, and the thing stay put.

There is also the RT404:

I guess the suspensors are on the underside of the feet.

.

No reason both can't be true! It's often the case that sculptors don't read every bit of background and come up with whatmight be a visually more appealing idea that works better on a miniature. Certainly, Jes' ankle-mounted suspensors work better from a miniature point of view, while Rick's original text is another iteration.
