Haven't Center Stage tanked? I don't think they're in business any more. I could be wrong.

SHQ have the old Fantasy Warlord Orcs and Ogres (Gary Chalk design, Bob Olley sculpts) http://www.shqminiatures.co.uk/Sitefiles/main.php
and Alternative Armies have the rest of the range viewtopic.php?f=6&t=474#p8601

these are from 1991/2

Probably worth noting that Minifigs Mythical Earth range http://www.miniaturefigurines.co.uk/Cat ... goryID=308 were the first ever fantasy gaming miniatures ever produced, 1976 :ugeek:

It's a bit more complicated than that, but yes I won't recommend ordering there right now if I wanted to be sure to get the miniatures...

- Scotia Grendel have plenty of relatively old models (including "big ugly" resin orc monsters, must paint some of mine). Nice to see they are re-releasing models too (lord of the rings stuff).

- RAFM, too with fairly old models still in production. Too bad their Kickstarter failed, we could have had a re-release of an older than WHFB rulebook :)

- Not sure how "old school" people here see Harlequin, but being able to buy the same "alternative WHFB" models that I did in the 90's form Black Tree Design is still pretty cool. For the record, delivery to Australia was somewhere between as slow as people say, and as quick as I hoped it would be.

- Same goes for Heartbreaker re-releases from Ral Partha Europe and things like Chris Fitzpatrick's elves from Iron Wind Metals.

Well done, this thread! I didn't know you sold them. I bought a bunch of Metal Magic recently, but didn't get either of these.

Almost forgot...

Of course there are tons of old models in the IWM store and I'm teaching people how to suck eggs (I hate that expression...) but old dragons are the best :)

(I just remembered that the blue dragon is another of my "bought thinking it was OOP, then realised the next week that it wasn't" moments.)

Griffin chariot, throne of bone and Tom Meier chariot were close calls, too:
