Night Horrors

With so many folks around who specialize in old minis, maybe someone has something interesting to say about the Citadel "Night Horrors" and "Ethereals" ranges? In every catalogue, this range looks different; aparently it's a sort of "misc." category into which everything that's remotely fitting into an undead or horror setting is dumped.
Here (http://www.miniatures-workshop.com/lost ... ht_Horrors) is the range in its most extensive stage and yes, that means that stuff from discontinued ranges (like the LotR Barrow Wights) is dumped in with it.
I keep wondering: how much of the other stuff is actually scenario pack special models that I've never heard of? E.g., couldn't the "Sorceress" be Etelka Herzen from the DotR scenario? Or here's another one: I have a copy of "Ghoul 2", yet the tab clearly identifies it as "Doppelganger", the skinless monster from Castle Drachenfels (even though the mini isn't entirely skinless).
Well, in short, if anyone has something to tell about the Night Horrors, I'd be very interested. What is and what isn't part of this range?
Oh and, yes, I do indeed find them fascinating and am always on the lookout to add more of them to my modest collection.

The Night Horrors range are highly collectible and can go for considerable sums on ebay. For example, you mention Etelka Herzen, I 've seen her go for £30 recently! I think the reason they are so popular is obvious, they are so varied and interesting. I only own one of these particular models, a devil, which I was lucky to pick up for a pound recently but I am definitely interested in picking up more in the future. There is no real background for the models as they were sculpted and released before the Warhammer 3rd and Rogue Trader explosion of the late 80s.

Here's another link you may be interested in.
