Re: Nippon figures

For heroic scale and poses, AEG's L5R range has quite a few character types. Size wise closer to modern GW aesthetics...

About 4 years ago, there was the most fantastic painting thread on Warseer (yes I went there), from a Scandinavian chap who was putting together just such an army. If you can find it, I'm sure it'll prove inspirational.

Re: Nippon figures

Dixon samurai are wonderful !!
Check this link http://www.figbazar.fr/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=9131This army is overpriced (800€) but pics are nice inspiration for your Nippon Army.

Dixon samurai are called "large 25mm scale" but I think they can't be mixed with other ranges.
