Alternate Dwarf models

I understand for many the idea of Oldhammer is to refind those old GW figures but others are after finding the fun of the old days with figures of the new age. While some will still want GW figures I for one do not have a spare kidney or child to sell  so have looked around at other company's figure and I have been very pleased to see what is out there.
So much so I thought I would share with you what I have found.

Really nice thread idea. Would be cool to have one or two pictures for each company as well ;)
I did a similar post on my blog recently, but on sculptor instead of race:

I was going to add posts for Adams, Copplestone and some of the less prolific ones (Nick Lund, Jes Goodwin etc)... Then I got a bit busy with work and real life. =/

I'm a fan of the Perry twins' imperial dwarves, and most of the above are either too tall and thin or too round (Marauder / Foundry) style for my taste. Just seen some lovely ones in the Hasslefree fantasy dwarves listing though, thanks ninja!

Some of the old Grenadier minatures now available from eM-4 are quite nice too -

Hi there,

Although they may be better know for the sea goblins, 'Four A Miniatures' do a nice range of dwarves:

Oops, double post...must be early senility...at least there's now a pic of Roman dwarves...

My old Acropolis Dwarves should be available from the Baggage Train, including those that were included in the Games Workshop mail order release (slotta versions became solid based). Note, I sold all rights back in the dark ages, so get nothing from sales, but thought you may be interested.
