I would say this, wouldn't I, but I think you can still get my old dwarfs (Acropolis / GW m/order) from The Baggage Train...http://the-baggagetrain.com/

Looking at the blog I'm a little confused. Does he produce these for sale? The dwarfs are nice, but I'm really liking those halflings he has in the works!

Thanks Chico. I somehow missed the whole 'ordering' page. That said, the halflings I'm after aren't available yet. I like the ones shown here.

There are also the lead adventure dwarves http://www.lead-adventure.com/index.php?cPath=23 and I know someone already linked to ral partha but they also carry the old heartbreaker dwarves that were sculpted by Kev Adams ( as well as orcs and goblins )

Hi there,

Although they may be better know for the sea goblins, 'Four A Miniatures' do a nice range of dwarves:

Re: Alternate Dwarf models

Oops, double post...must be early senility...at least there's now a pic of Roman dwarves... :D

My old Acropolis Dwarves should be available from the Baggage Train, including those that were included in the Games Workshop mail order release (slotta versions became solid based). Note, I sold all rights back in the dark ages, so get nothing from sales, but thought you may be interested.

Re: Alternate Dwarf models

Nobody mentions it but I think Heartbreaker Dwarves sculpted by Kev Adams are very close to the Oldhammer spirit/looking

I believe it's hard to do better...put one in an "only-GW 3rd-dwarf-regiment"...difficult to see it's not an original 3rd ed dwarf warrior at the first look

still available at

Thanks for reading my broken english :D
