2000 AD/Judge Dredd Project help.

Right-o I've been getting really into reading the 2000 AD collections mostly Judge Dredd and Rogue Trooper and it's stuck in my mind to start a small JD Project. Maybe a small selection of Perps and Judges, and of course the iconic characters like the Angel Gang and the Dark Judges.

Now I'm aware both Foundry, Citadel and Warlord/Mongoose have a JD figure range, but I was wondering what else is out there both as proxies or unofficial figures?

What would you recommend, like everything I do the cheaper the better.

Cheers

Most of the EM4 future skirmish lines are suitable, and you can't get much cheaper:

The Rebels work well as gangers etc, and the 'Troopers' make good Citi-Def. Most of the other ranges there can be used for something JD-related, even the aliens.

There you go then, I've saved you a bunch of cash! ;)

Black Hat do some civilians that are useful. I always like to have lots of civs knocking around to use as cover:

They also do some superheroes for mutants/vigilantes:

The heroclix figures seem to be pretty cheap to get a hold of and shouldn't be too difficult to repaint

My 'munda enforcers are JD themed... this guy looks particularly cool in judge colours:

The 'munda figures also make good perps:

Along with some conversions based on guard and a multitude of bits and bobs:

How's this for a lawmaster? :)

Plenty of cool perp types here.

Also Andy C. At 4aMiniatures does some lovely minis that would fit with a JD & RT project too:

Re: 2000 AD/Judge Dredd Project help.

Bumping this thread as I'm still after ideas for Perps and Muties, as I've gone for Citadel Judge Dredd range it'll have to be compatible to 25mm and in production.

EM4's Ex-Grenadier Future Wars and Ex-Metal Magic lines are great but I'm already using most of these ranges for other projects. I like to keep my various projets somewhat unique so after other ideas.

Thanks for the help.

For perps, how about Ion Age Betrayers?
