Mordheim Board (not mine)

Found this setup in the Stourbridge branch of Titan Games on Saturday, thought the Oldhammerers might appreciate it!

This isn't actually owned by the shop, nor built by them. It is actually owned by a tattoo parlour in the same street as Titan Games who built it for their staff's Mordheim campaign and is on loan/display because the parlour is moving premises and it needs a temporary home. Beautiful piece of work.

Tells you something about the state of GW when a tattoo parlour has a better display board than their shops do...

Looks great. I think I can spot a few of the Warlord Games 'Ruins' kit. Versatile kit that.

What a great board! Perfect miniature porn, as it's both nice to look at and attainable. It's like "girl next door" amateur porn instead of airbrushed silicon monsters.

What's the deal with gaming on it while it's on loan? Allowed, or is it just for looking at longingly?

I'm not sure, but am heading over there again on Sunday as it's an introduction to Infinity(*) day and might take along two Chaos Warbands for Song of Blades and Heroes as a deliberate and heavy-handed hint.

Coop

(*) Introduction to Infinity sounds like a 1950s sci-fi novel but it's actually a introductory day for the Infinity ruleset.

That looks like an incredible board, with scenery like that you can't help but want to play games on it. You'll want to put a Mordheim band together just by because you are near it.

@Coopdevil: I think (hope) you'll really enjoy Infinity, it's been my number one gaming system for the last few years, let us know how it goes.

Totally amazing, some really nice detail.

I've got to second Infinity, I've only played a few beginner games but it was fantastic, quick and tactical.

Infinity - a mate of mine is also looking at giving it a try as he has a bunch of the figures from when we were messing about with Inq28. I've proxied a 200 point force together using Space Marine Scouts as Veteran Kazaks with a few textured blank bases for the camoflague troops so will see how that works.

Sorry, I know this is necro'ing the thread, but....

Coopdevil, how did your game of Infinity go?
