The Face That Launched a Thousand Conversions

Well, maybe not a thousand...

I've always missed my imperial beastmen and could never find any on ebay for a price I was willing to pay for a mini or two. Then last week the Imperial Packmaster mini came up and with a couple of bidders it was only up to about $8. On a whim I bid $10 and forgot about it. Then a few days later I got an auction win notification. This guy was in the mail today!



I've missed this guy so much, I've tried to recreate that feeling through conversions over the years. While they were fun and looked pretty good, they couldn't replace the memory of the Packmaster.

And here is a beefier sort of Space Goat...


The conversions were fun, but it's nice to have an authentic space goat back in the barn... er bunker.

Nice work! Very subtle results, specially on the grey-armored ones.
Packmaster is something else, though.

I didn't know that Victoria Miniatures made those, very cool! Gaxt was on ebay a couple days ago. I'd have gone after him but it caught me on the wrong end of payday.
