Chaos Dwarf Whirlwind - Slicing Blade

Hey,

I’ve got the Chaos Dwarf Whirlwind War Machine but only one slicing blade (it should have 3 in total).

Could anyone advise or recommend a way to cast two more using the original slicing blade please? I’ve googled it, but there are so many options out there and I’m just looking for an easy and cheap way to do it just for these blades.

Cheers.

Jeg.

If you just need a blade I'd recommend just carving one up out of plastic. It's a pretty basic piece really, not much detail on the blade.

I've used Siligum (search it on ebay) to successfully make simple 1 and 2-part moulds before, but as it's just a pointy thing, I'd be tempted to make the basic 2d shape in plasticard, then add greensuff to bulk it out and shape it.

Go with plasticard, it's the best time effective way to cope with it.

Copying it is possible but that piece in resin or putty will just be weak (unless you're casting in lead)
It will take little time to make 3 of your own design in plasticard really.
