Thanks Weazil,

Found that a much easier experience than last year. 8-) Like the counter at the bottom of the page, that's now my target - paint one figure for every day to go!

What format are the tables in? Are they all covered in scenery already or are they literally a flat table? If I booked one and then brought terrain in 2’ modules would it work - or would it only work on specific tables?

They vary' but most aren't a bowling green. Take a look at the foundry website plus any blog posts of previous BOYL's you can find.

Hi Tom

It depends on the tables. The 12x6 are flat, the 4x3s are flat, the 6x6s are 'shaped' (and cannot be flattened) and the 6x4s are 'both'. By both, I mean that they are lipped 6x4s that have 6 2x2 sections on top. You could remove those to have a flat table, or you could insert your own, I suppose.

Of course, that makes the 6x4s very popular, so they tend to get booked up first. If you're able to, you could bring your board sections in anyway and we can ask Foundry to try and put up extra tables on the day. Foundry have more tables - typically they don't have more undercover space to put them out - so if its a good day, then we can put the tables outside, but if not ... then we can't.

It's also worth noting that you could book 2 3x4s and put them together to make a bigger table. This makes them a little squeezy tight to get around (as they're usually in the smaller rooms).

I hope that helps? PM me if you have specific requirements you want to chat about - there might be another solution if I know what you want to achieve.

Thanks
Regards

Gaj

Re: BOYL 2018 - Table Bookings Now Open!

Gaj,

Ideally I want to put up an 8’ x 4’ board made out of 2’ x 2’ modules. Traditional Epic size table - although the scenario i’ve Got in mind will be played down the length rather than across.

I’ve booked the 6’ x 6’ as this was available all day Saturday, but if there’s a better option then let me know. I’m committed to another game on Sunday morning, so Saturday is the best option really.

Any suggestions gratefully received!!!

Thanks,

Tom

Re: BOYL 2018 - Table Bookings Now Open!

I think I've managed to book a 6x4 table for a couple of slots on Saturday.

We're planning a rather large game though (5,000pts per side, maybe?) and are not sure if that table will be wide enough, whereas the 12x6 is likely too big to be practical. Is there any possibility of getting an 8x4 table or similar?

Sorry, i know that's a bit awkward!
