What is Bier Bowl?
Bier Bowl is a fast, simple game of five-a-side fantasy football played on the pitches and streets of Heldenhofen. It is known as Strasse Bowl when played in the streets. It is a complete game on only two sides of A4, including league rules and a random team name generator. It is Creative Commons licensed.
The full rules for Bier Bowl can be found here:

A printable pitch can be found here:

(you will need to print this out twice and stick the two halves together)
How do I play?
First of all you will need a team of 5 guys. It doesn't really matter what they are as long as you and your opponent can easily tell what type of player each of them are. You will also need a d4, a d6 and a d8. I'll try and make sure there are a few sets about the place.
There are 3 types of player.
Ordinary Guys are just that. Your average player with no particular specialty.
Fast Guys are not very strong but are quick on their feet and good at passing the ball.
Tough Guys are slow and terrible at passing, but are very tough and good at beating up the other side.
One easy way to differentiate the different types of player is to use different races. For example, my own team The Old Griffin Gladiators consists of two halflings (Fast Guys), one human (Ordinary Guy) and two dwarves (Tough Guys).
You can have any mix of players you want, even a team of all Fast Guys or all Tough Guys.
You also need a pitch to play on. The official rules state a pitch of 7 squares by 13 squares. The Heldenhofen Stadium is larger than that however, and games played in the streets have no real defined pitch. The end row of each short side is an End Zone belonging to a player.
If you want to play a game but the Stadium is currently occupied, find an area of squares on the Heldenhofen board and play Strasse Bowl. You simply need to agree where the end zones are for each player. There is no reason for the end zones to be lined up or anything, they could be anywhere. It's a good idea for them to be about the same size as each other though. If the ball ends up hitting a building, count it as having left the pitch and bounce it back in as normal.
Find another player to play with and play a game according to the rules linked to above. The winner of the game score's points equal to the difference in the final scores. So if you win 3-1 for example you would score 2 points. Points scored in Strasse Bowl still count! There will be a sheet by the Heldenhofen board for people to record their points on. The player with the most points by the time I gather them in on Sunday morning will win a prize!
I will be about all weekend to answer rule queries or to play games with. I won't be recording my scores of course, but games against me can still score you points.
What About Snorkleball?
Snorkleball is just Bier Bowl played by Snorclings. It is used to keep Heldenhofen's Snorcling population under control. If we have enough snorcling teams to run a separate event we will, but otherwise they can compete with other Bier Bowl teams.
