As well as running Meridian Miniatures for over 6 years I have been involved in the wider miniatures hobby in my spare time. In fact I have been collecting miniatures for almost 3 decades at this point. This year I am planning to use Kickstarter to help me realise all sorts of Miniatures that I have wanted to own for years. I am able to create them but I need the support of the miniatures community to make this financially viable. The first figure that I have sculpted for this collection is the Biomech Overlord.
This figure stands at roughly 70mm, a towering amalgam of my sci-fi influences. From Lovecraft to Giger to Asian statuary and classic wargaming miniatures. The four armed figure is cast in resin and is supplied with two heads to chose from, an alien mastermind or a Cthulhu inspired visage.

Many thanks

I’ve had a few requests for scale shots and I must admit that like a fool I didn’t get any “proper” pictures before I cut the figure up for casting! I did luckily take a couple of pics for my friend to send via SMS, thankfully I’ve pulled them off of my phone!

Here the big guy is alongside a couple of converted GW figures (originally a Stormcast Eternal/Poxwalker).

I’ve had a couple of comments on forums that the presentation of the figures was too dark. Luckily I took some pictures with a white backdrop before sending it to the casters. Let me know if you prefer the “look” this way.
