Any news on this yet?

Surely we can just post up a poll on this site - can't wait to get voting

I think the best way to do the gobbos in the future is to post each entry as a single thread, displaying the pic(s) of the entry and any text content. Each user can rank each entry 1-5. Simple and efficient. If the poll results can be kept hidden until voting is over, it would be best. The three top ranking entries would get a separate finals thread, where each entry is a poll option. The most popular of the three would be the grand winner.

I would be happy to set up the poll and get things moving along...anything to help.

I Run the monthly painting contest over at Bugman's so have some experience doing such things.

Cheers,

I think that this is a very good idea indeed! When the Golden Gobbos was set up we didn't even have this forum or Steve's website to house the miniatures. It seems natural that our painting comps have a natural home here, doesn't it?

I want to apologise for the lack of progress on the poll but the last month has been insane on the work front! I work as a teacher and can access blogger through the educational filter but, alas, the Bloodforum is somehow deemed to be pornography (?) and is restricted. Hence, I can work on my blog at lunch time but cannot touch the poll. I have amassed a number of 10-11 year olds who are fascinated with my old school Citadel and discussions about Heroquest are reaching feverpitch!

Better get on with the
Warhammer is dead! Long live Third!

Wahoo - let voting commence!

I know what you mean about work - remember when I first started teaching :o

These days I clear the decks so I get a good couple of hours a night after the kids are in bed - my lunchtimes are fairly fraught affairs marking, prepping afternoon lessons, organising sports teams, orchestra rehearsals...

Good to hear you're spreading the word - I'm hoping to get my Y5's writing FF style gamebooks later in the year- h and the Hobbit is coming out in the cinema soon
