Friday Socialising

Hi folks, I have been given the green light to come and socialise on Friday evening. Sadly, I'll have to drive to and from Nottingham, but I can at least meet you all and join in the non-gaming socialising ahead of the weekend.

So...when and where will you all be?

It look like most people have booked in the Best Western Hotel so best bet is too turn up there and head to the bar I plan to spend my Friday night at the hotel bar anyway

Rab and I will also be at the Best Western and I feel it is safe to assume we'll be in the bar too.

A soft 12 beers and a taxi home? heh

Being the selfless individual that I am, I spent Saturday wandering the drinking establishments of Newark as 'research' for the oldhammer weekend. It's hard work, but someone has to do it.

It turns out there are some great pubs, serving some cracking beer. There are 5 or 6 places which met with my approval, all within easy walking distance of the hotel. So we have plenty of options on both the Friday and Saturday night.

Now that's dedication to the cause
