Need help with a classic Empire Figure

Hi all...

...I've been asked to paint up this really old Citadel fighter/handgunner and its driving me crazy. He has some sort of weird helmet on and I can't tell what is supposed to be metal and what is face... :icon_rolleyes: does anyone have a painted version of this figure or some input on what this should look like?

I'd say the deepest part only is the real face. Visor partially flipped up.

Yup. The little ball eyes and nose and 'tache are the part of the helm. Then he is peeking through the slit. Then there is a huge chin guard.

Prime it white. Details will come out, it's always the same for me and pre-slotta lead. I can never tell what's what but after priming it becomes much, much clearer.

I painted mine as all metal. 3rd edition handgunners needed all the protection they could get in case they rolled a 1 to hit.
