Big April Challenge - '18

Lots of great giant-ness in this thread! :)

Ketil, your giant has a really wonderful expression on his face. He reminds me of various illustrations of frost giants and trolls made by book illustrator Erik Hjorth Nielsen.

OK, here's the finished article for now, may go back to her at a later date, but I've got too much other stuff to be getting on with for BOYL to keep this on my painting table for another week,

So here's my finished contribution to the challenge a repaired C28 giant. I see him as a sort of Nurgle associated type.

Thanks Lilbro and Lord Chaotl, time has got the better of me, but these two are much closer to being done than they were a month ago

Hopefully I can finish all 4 soon.

Nice. I'm still a fan of the Albion giants. Although they're now pretty old themselves, I thought they were a good evolution of the style of some of the older giants, like the c28s you painted. Speaking of which, I love the skin tones and the how the eyes complement the expressions on the faces.

This is as far as I made it on the (admittedly much newer...) giant I was hoping to finish by the end of Big April.

Thanks for the kind words ZeroTwentythree, hope I can get all of them completed soon. Yours is looking great so far, the face in particular is looking really nice, good teeth.

Lovely and disturbing, as giants should so often be. Well done! Makes me wonder about sci-fi giants beyond ogryn scale. Well done!

Didn't even realise this was happening as I've been away in Wales. Though I've been a bit giant myself.
