The Eldar meet some Chaos Cultists (RT/-I-Munda project) 25/

Some shots of the I-Munda game from earlier in the week.

Having been sent there by their mysterious leader, Klaus Konrad Krakowitz the Blasphemous Bombast of Bull-Shatt, the Brotherhood of Eternal Sunshine have recently raided a mining town on the backwater planet of Upsheet II.
They are seeking to claim an ancient alien artefact that had been recently discovered by local workers in one of their workings.

Having driven out the local inhabitants using very some persuasive tactics, they have the thing in their possession when some Eldar turn up to attempt to spoil the party.

Unluckily for the Eldar the Brotherhood have noticed their arrival and are waiting for them...

...where, after a vicious close-range firefight and a few bouts of brutal close combat, the Eldar are cut down....

There was obviously a fair bit more than this going on, but those are the piccies that came out ok, and you know that the pict-recorder never lies....

....so that is what the local pict-rag is reporting.

The other aspect of the campaign involved Legionnaire Bert and his Ordo Hereticus Inquisitor Henrik Monteufel.
Monteufal is on the trail of the Arch Heretic Klaus Konrad Krakowitz the Blasphemous Bombast of Bull-Shatt.

Tracking him down to the frontier world of Upsheet II, an arid world comprising of small mining colonies scattered around it's various deserts, he managed to catch a picture of the Bombast on one of the scanner-bots which showed him heading into an elongated valley bordered by low hills and craggy buttes aboard a landspeeder .

This area is generally known to be controlled by a local band of smugglers, but the Inquisitor was not going to worry about them.
He immediately assembled his band of retainers and made his way out there.

Here is a pictograph of the group before they set out, taken by one of the servitors on board Monteufel's ship, the Saucy Nancy....

Your tabletop looks great in the first game. And from what I can see the minis look good too ;)

Any chance of some gratuitous close ups of the guys?

Wow, somehow missed some posts here but those in-game pictures are absolutely brilliant, gorgous models on a gorgeous table. Truely splendid !

Thanks, optimus.
I thought that all of the figures in those latest few posts were in this thread already.
Whilst the yellow cultists and Eldar are in here but it seems that there are a few that are not.
Here are some of them....

Bugsda (from the LAF) painted up a set of my Savage Scouts for me...

Well chuffed with the results.

And the Inquisitor and psyker are pictured here along with my Iron Claw Space Pirates, which they were painted to complement.
The Space Pirates have been seeing double service as all sorts in the campaign we have been playing and work perfectly in a lot of roles....

Actually, I only just realised that I'd seen them before. I was just being lazy & didn't bother to look through the previous posts

Thanks for posting them up again though :)

As I am getting someone else to paint up the 'official' Outlander War Party in buckskins, I am opting to paint my own versions of the Outlanders as a Scavvy gang for both Necromunda and I-Munda.
I figured that some Scavvy bands would opt for as much elaborate clothing as they can get their hands on, maybe looted from trade caravans or even previous victims.

So, bearing that in mind, here are the first of the Chavvy Scavvies....

I managed to get a bit more scatter scenery' finished in the form of some small containers...

The figures are great, but what drove me to comment was the scenery. Especially love those containers.

Now, I need to remind myself - I will not get distracted with sci-fi stuff.

Keep up the great work!

Pictures galore!. (RT/-I-Munda project) 14/03

Thanks, Paul.
Much appreciated.

Whilst on the subject of scenery, I have dug out a bunch of pictures showing more scenery as well as a few figures.......

Beginning with the Marshall and Hounds.

The Hounds are a key feature of gaming in the Outland setting, which will become clearer later... ;)

The Merchant and Porters (with BIG loads)

Another angle...

These will represent a nomad band in the Outlanders setting, which will double up as a Scavenger gang in our Necromunda games...

Outfitted in much brighter clothing than some of the other groups on Outland, the Nomad culture favours brighter clothing which has often seen better days once exposed to the elements for a while.

Re: Pictures galore (RT/-I-Munda project) 06/04

I finally got around to painting a few figures up from the second 'Outlanders' Kickstarter.

Starting with the Priest and his Cyber-Hound

79bfb63a-bb1b-4b3f-9bd7-332d861aab92_zpsjyqku5eg.jpg

I was trying to go for a pasty, quite ill-looking complexion reminiscent of Darth Vader sans helmet.
Not sure if that quite worked but I am reasonably happy with the final look of him.

Next up is the Bounty Hunter and his 'Mule'....

BHU paint_zpsxyjxvwxw.jpg

I think he came out pretty well, much better than my efforts on the Priest, so I have used this fella on the website:
