Space Ork conversions.

Give a teddy bear to Mister Rab,

You are indeed correct..... I must have the legs mixed up from some other mini I acquired to dismember for parts.

Those teddy bears look strangely familiar. Is that illustration from the TMNT RP game?

I could have sworn I've seen them before ;)

Here's the last one I completed, with a big thanks to Asslessman for giving me his left hand to finish it.

There's a whole lot of waffle & pictures over on my blog, if your mad keen for more?

The conversions look great. Very "old school ork" appropriate. I look forward to seeing them painted, though I assume we won't be seeing much red on them?

oh yeah

I love those tmnt rp books

Been giving some attention to these guys over the past few days.

I'm a bit worried about the skin tone, too green! But I'll just stick it out till the end & see how they turn out. I'm painting up just about every ork I have at the moment, so they better look good god damn it!....or else

Oh, I think they will look very good. I like your green skin tone. Nothing to worry about there. I suppose if you wanted you could shadow it up a little with a very dilute black wash. (Brown might give a little more warmth, but as dilute as I'm picturing it it also might not daken them up much.) But there's no need unless you're really unhappy with the bright green. They're looking great so far. And you have more orcs coming as I recall. Looks like they'll be in good company.

Finally finished these guys off. Took me long enough hey

Dave Andrew's inspired conversion, with some help from JB

Cheers.

Next dude, he's a bit dim, so he sports a name tag on his shoulder....he won't go forgetting who he is until that shirts' removed.

I'm pretty happy with how he turned out.

Last one on the list, arm replacement guy.

I just remembered that I have to add some old blood to his shoulder socket. But apart from that he's done.

Oh, and here's a guy that was an important addition to my ork army.

Couldn't have called themselves "Ork Raiders" without their main man inspiring (more like threatening) them into action. Thrugg Bullneck, generously donated by Captain Crooks. Painted up & ready to smash some humies

Cheers Crooksey.

Seeing him painted up all sweet like that, I should be thanking you  but you're welcome of course!

Thanks, these are the first orks I've ever painted. I'm pretty happy with how the skin turned out, Thantsants pointed me in the right direction to start with.

Before I started painting them I didn't realise how much detail they're packed with. Lots of little gubbins wherever. I can understand why they were popular minis back in the day.
