Yeah, definately, look how those tubes integrate with the carapace, especially at the terminals, they're much more organic shapes.
Also it might be worth looking at Gigers original.
At the end of the day it's up to you, no reason they couldn't have technological grafts, and the paintjob will go a long way.

Yeah , the Giger's original have even more "no bio" looking tubes.
The paintjob is one of the keys , of course if you paint that part metal...well.... But a cool soft tone of brown , yellow , pastel green.....wil make the difference.

I just don't know how I missed those updates but I like the Ambull a LOT. I agree the painting will do a lot but I think the tubes could be slightly blended in the skin to achieve a slightly more organic feel for the tubes.
It looks terrific and you obviously have one already sold to me right now.

Having just finished painting an original Ambull last week, I am very much looking forward to getting a copy of this one. I like the long arms, but from what I have seen here already, I will be happy with whatever you decide to go with.
