I was rummaging around in some of the cupboards I probably should have sorted and cleared out over the summer and found an old computer of mine. I nearly earmarked it for the tip/recycling until I remembered it was my only way of playing some of the older Dos games I've harboured over the years.
Without it wouldn't be able (unless there's some clever way round it) to play Final Liberation - great stuff
or Chaos Gate (never really got on with this one)
I have even fonder memories of hours wasted in two player mode on Barbarian on a mate's amiga
Even more hours zapping baddies in Gauntlet on another mate's C64
and when he upgraded to a Megadrive, Golden Axe became our favourite game
Seem to remember owning the Heroquest computer game too - but must have played the boardgame more though
So how did you lot waste your youth away - other than playing with little lead men?
