 Spoiler: Mildly NSFW
Rather than describe them for you in detail, why don't we use the informative and useful layer of 'protective boobs' that JB used to package the first parcel he ever sent me, that somehow my mother-in-law discovered the other day and promptly showed my wife?

Image

I think the closest matches are: top pair = top row far left, middle pair = middle row far right (but with the nipples of the pair to the left of it), bottom pair = top row far right.

 Spoiler: notes
Thanks James, Now I can picture and play the character accordingly. :ugeek:

I just realise I didn't pack the Killdozer in the same protection, it proved efficient enough since no harm was done to any of the models I sent (or maybe it's just because they were all squats or dragons :D)
Sorry about that digresison guys but we're on a topic which I have a strong resonnance with.

 Spoiler: Notes
Hmm...I thinks Bari is going to research a 'protective boobs' spell as soon as we get out of this predicament. Perhaps a Zone of Boobs? Bari's Barrier of Boobs? Boob Blockade? Hmm...

Re: D&D ADVENTURE! THE TEMPLE OF PIETER ONNE-DRAY

The snakewoman was very shapely, like a Kev White sculpt, thought Eggbert.

He concentrated... trying to figure out the riddle of this place. A staff, with the word "ARIA" written on it, what did that mean? How had the snakemen got here? Why were they here? Who is this creature they worship as a Goddess? Who is Kev White? So many questions... He looked at the strange creature before him, looked at the boobs, looked through the boobs.... and then he saw through her, he knew her secret! He had not solved the riddle, but he had solved her riddle. How could he use it to their advantage? A bargain? But what bargain could they make that these snakemen would keep? So far they had attacked their enemies head on, and it had not failed them. But this time they were surrounded on all sides.

Eggbert decided to try talking:

"Your snakefulness, we did not come here to cause harm. I have come here in the company of noble knights and clerics. Clerics do not specialise in offensive magics, but in protection, spells of cancelation, that kind of thing. I myself am a humble illusionist, and not even a very good one. It is more a power to dissapoint than to destroy. I find that people get so dissappointed when an illusion goes wrong."

"There have been some unfortunate misunderstandings but I hope we can put it behind us. We wish only for safe passage out of here, and our weapons back" (Eggbert was not sure whether to mention Buffo at this point)...

Eggbert was not sure whether he was on the right track here. He looked at his companions, studying their reactions to try to form a plan.

Re: D&D ADVENTURE! THE TEMPLE OF PIETER ONNE-DRAY

The misstress listened to Seu's speech gleefully, somehow conveying a girlish joy with a monstrous condescension. She giggled when he mentioned Hisston leading them to fight the snakemother in exchange for their freedom, and smiled winningly when he mentioned the honour of the Yuan-Ti. When he was done she tilted her head at the paladin and beamed - he could feel the evil radiating from her even with the pit between them. "This one speaks well, and his flattering words almost conceal his utter revulsion of us and our kind... isn't he a funny one? So uptight... so serious." She turned to Hisston, and in dulcent tones, asked, "Is it true my love, did they come here without intention to harm us?"

Hisston grinned his pointy-toothed grin.

"My misstress, when I firsst encountered them, they casst foul magiks upon me and sstruck me down from behind... they attacked without warning or remorsse..."

"Oh dear me," murmered the misstress, "that's not very pleasant now is it?"

Bari, having reached the limit of endurance both physically and mentally, slumped forwards and nearly pitched into the abyss before him, saved at the last second by Robin. The misstess looked delighted, but frowned momentarily when she saw Bari's staff, as if trying to recall something. She was interrupted by the plucky gnome, who, having made a discovery of some gravity, was thinking quickly to formulate a plan.

"Your snakefulness," Eggbert began, "we did not come here to cause harm."

Rambulge was staring at the floor, blushing angrily with helpless rage at the circumstances they were in. Yngwie stood wearily, exhaustion and misery etched on his fine elven features.

"I have come here in the company of noble knights and clerics..."

Robin helped steady Bari, who's mind was reeling with the recollection of what he had learnt back at his temple, half a universe away. Seu stood tall, the baby girl nestled in the crook of his arm.

"Clerics do not specialise in offensive magics, but in protection, spells of cancellation, that kind of thing..."

The white snake on the dais stared hard at the gnome with his bottomless black eyes.

"I myself am a humble illusionist, and not even a very good one..."

The misstress, who had been smiling benignly upon the gnome until now, suddenly changed her expression to one of pensiveness. Her eyes flicked back to Bari's staff.

"It is more a power to disappoint than to destroy. I find that people get so disappointed when an illusion goes wrong..."

The white snake's eyes widened. The misstress' face was hard as stone. Rambulge, his eyes still fixed on the shaggy, red, ruined carpet, spotted something odd nestled in the tattered threads.

"There have been some unfortunate misunderstandings but I hope we can put it behind us. We wish only for safe passage out of here, and our weapons back."

Silence fell upon the room. Eggbert felt the weight of the eyes upon him. Rambulge squinted. Was that...?

The misstress spoke.

"That one," she pointed at Bari, "you fools, he is carrying the High Clerist's stave!" She looked at Eggbert. "And you - you are a worker of filthy magiks. I will tolerate the worship of no other gods in my temple, and your unclean magicks are an insult to my power. There can be only one punishment.

Throw them into the pit."

There was no time to react. Eggbert was lifted easily in strong, reptilian hands. For Bari it was one powerful shove. Rambulge's vision blurred through angry, broken-hearted tears as he saw the truth. The object in the carpet - it was a chicken nugget. Bufo...

The cleric and the mage disappeared into the blackness of the abyss. Light gleamed briefly off the shiny tip of the stave before it too was swallowed up by the darkness...

Re: D&D ADVENTURE! THE TEMPLE OF PIETER ONNE-DRAY

As the Mistress spoke , Seu turned to Robin "is she mocking me or what ? I have the feeling she does not believe our story..."

When Eggbert spoke the paladin tried to understand what his vertically challenged friend was trying to say... he did not get the time to get the smallest answer... Bari and Eggbert were already thrown in the pit ! Seu immediately decided to jump in the pit with them...

But he needed a weapon...

Where were they?...

He couldn't see them so he decided to jump as he was, he still had the mirror shield in his back after all...

But what if hs friends were barely alive afetr landing at the bottom of the pit?...

Was there a chance he might finish them off by landing on them with his 18 stones of muscle and steel ?...

The mental image that came at this thought convinced him to wait a little longer before jumping in to help his friends...

A small tap on his helmet got Seu off of his daydream, the babygirl was smiling at him... or more probably at her distorted reflection in his helmet... oh right, there was the baby too. She had probably never been trained to survive high height dives as he had...

The paladin sent a messgae to his friends in his mind : "Hold on guys, By my sword (I don't currently have) I swear I will save you no matter what. I'll get to the last circle of hell if I have to but I WILL get you back alive !"
He then turned to his remaining friends and saw Rambulge shattered in tears... was it th eloss of their 2 frinds or was it something else?

"Well, shit," Bari supposed, as he tumbled into the hole he'd just been saved from.

"That'll make it hard to remove her curse..."

Bari looked back as the circle of light hurtled away from him. "Hey, Baby," he said, trying to stay calm. "Bari here. Shit's going real bad right now and I sure need some help. Don't suppose you could help me with this, maybe?" Bari looked at the staff, as if being able to see it would make any difference...

 Spoiler: Bari's Actions
Bari will respond helplessly to the awesome power of gravity, accelerating to terminal velocity.

Also, whilst doing so, and in mildy interesting conversation with Jordann, he'll try to get to the bottom of the High Clerists staff.

Gaj

Re: D&D ADVENTURE! THE TEMPLE OF PIETER ONNE-DRAY

Robin leapt forward as his companions fell into the pit; the very pit that he had pulled Bari back from mere moments ago, but he was too late as they both fell into its dark depths.

Robin hadn't known many people as he was growing up and during his formative years. The life of a woodsman and tracker didn't exactly encourage friendships or extended stays in one place. Nonetheless, this strange mix of companions that Robin had found himself with had struck a chord with the Ranger.

He turned to Seu, "I believe she does mock you my friend. Clearly she sees the threat that people pure of heart can mean. Such a shame that she was so clearly intimidated by the Snake Mother, she had to rely upon people strong of heart and pure of mettle to deal with such a threat. Especially as even her own general clearly plotted against her to raise up one more worthy of her race. After all, even Hisston, her favourite, was willing to lead us to slay the Snake Mother and encouraged us to kill her brood."
