D&D ADVENTURE! THE TEMPLE OF PIETER ONNE-DRAY

Seu saw Robin shooting at the paralysed Yuan-ti, he had hoped for a more pacific way of incapacitating but the look in Robin's eyes had not been the same since they had first heard of the presence of snakes in the Temple...
Seu knew Robin to be a good man and it looked like the rnager was not animated by bloodlust but pain and the ghost of past nightmares. Seu had learnt through prayer and training (and a good load of self whipping) to almost erase the feeling of hatred and vengeance but some old emotions die hard...
Though coldblooded, his opponent saw his companion getting the attention of the other adventurers, Seu looked for an opening in the Snakeman pose...

Same as above

I've left it a day or so to give everyone time to give me their actions... so anyone who hasn't will experience... consequences ;)

Robin let loose the first of his arrows at the prone Yuan-Ti guard - at close range, at an unmoving target, it was childsplay to bury the shaft deep into the creature.

Seu shouldered aside his comrades in an effort to shield them from the snakeman's attacks, and followed up with three swift strikes at the Yuan-ti that were straight out of the Paladin's Handbook on Weaponcraft, Armour Maintenance and Advanced Cookery. He carried each strike off with perfect poise and grace, completely textbook. All three missed abysmally. The stricken guard, hardly believing his luck, used the brief reprieve to quickly quaff a potion, and as the horrified paladin looked on, some of the creature's terrible wounds began to seal...

Yngwie, finding himself edged out of the combat, decided to heed the paladin's unspoken request and turned his attention to the other guard, who was held fast on the ground, an arrow jutting from it's arm, with not so much as a twitch to show it was even alive. The elf considered attacking the thing to be an act little better than sport-less murder, however... an image of the skeletal remains of his friends, the ornamental dagger lying between them, hove into his mind's eye. Yngwie raised his ax high and brought it down on the creature's head with a sickening crunch...

Eggbert concentrated hard on maintaining the illusion surrounding Bari, which was no mean feat considering the situation - noise, heat, a straight-up battle to the death just feet away. Next to him, in the alcove of the door, the snakeman, Hisston, was pensively waiting. Confounded by his restraints and blindfold, he was unable to determine what exactly was going on.

"Ssss... what iss taking them sso long?" He muttered under his breath.

"Time is relative, you know," Eggbert murmered back.

"What are you talking about?" Hisston hissed.

"Time dilates according to the special properties of the current environment - for example," the little genius gnome began warming up to his subject, "gravitational time-dilation can be observed when moments of great gravity occur, the seriousness of which has a direct causal effect on how long it takes to resolve the situation. The relative part relates to the relations of the parties involved - one might find oneself in the company of boorish individuals for whom any relation is compromised by their interminable awfulness of being, and this will increase the dilation of time spent in their presence exponentially."

"I think I ssee what you mean," Hisston replied wearily.

"Oh really? Would you like me to share some equations with you? I know some really long ones..." As Eggbert waffled on, the illusionary disguise around Bari began to blur and waver...

Bari had stumbled over to the opposite wall of the room, near the doorway that held the gnome and the four-armed snake thing. The room and everything in it was really starting to harsh his style. The presence of his goddess seemed to grow remoter by the second, smothered by some cloying, lingering ague - but was it this place, or was it him that was the problem? As he backed up against the slick, moist walls of the bathing chamber, trying to centre himself and just breathe, he became steadily more aware that something was very wrong - and that wrongness seemed to centre upon his left foot. His left... foot? Bari looked down. Yep. The snakelings were trying to eat him. "OH HELL NAWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!"

Robin sent another shaft whizzing into the prone snakeman, past Yngwie, who seemed to be having difficulty battering through the thick, muscular hide of the snakeman. The creature was already a mess, and moreso now with another of Robin's arrows sticking out of it!

Rambulge found that he no longer had a clear line of attack to the wounded snakeman guard - the paladin seemed to be blocking him from harm's way. "Don't worry about old Rambulge," thought Rambulge, "I'm a big boy, I can look after myself!" The spellsword wove awkwardly past the paladin, driving his cudgel forward and jostling his armoured companion. "For motheeeeeeeeeeeeeer!" screamed Rambulge, taking a huge swing and quite unexpectedly connecting with the side of the Yuan-ti's weaving, dodging head - it was hard to say which of them looked more surprised! The snakeman shook it's skull to clear the sudden ringing it was experiencing. It bared it's fangs at the spellsword with a look that promised pain to come.

Combat round 3:

Robin strikes a Yuan-Ti elite with a sheaf arrow, dealing 4 damage!
Seu attacks a Yuan-Ti elite with Flamebrand +1. He misses!
Seu attacks a Yuan-Ti elite with Flamebrand +1. He misses!
Seu attacks a Yuan-Ti elite with Flamebrand +1. He misses!

A Yuan-Ti elite drinks a potion of extra healing.

Yngwie strikes a Yuan-Ti elite with a guitar-ax, dealing 10 damage! (Double Damage).
Robin strikes a Yuan-Ti elite with a sheaf arrow, dealing 5 damage!
Rambulge strikes a Yuan-Ti elite with a cudgel, dealing 6 damage!

I'd just like to comment on this battle round - I'd hoped the Yuan-Ti would roll low for initiative to give him a chance to heal, and was overjoyed when he got a '2' - then my heart sank for him when Seu rolled a '1'! As Seu is the main damage dealer with the best to-hit chance of anyone, the guard was basically doomed. However, for his attack rolls, Seu rolled a 5, then 4, then 2!! He needs a 13+ to score a hit on this Yuan-Ti, less with the effects of prayers etc. Conversely, Rambulge, as a lvl 2 fighter, requires an 18 to hit this snakeman, and rolled precisely 18!

Bari's Hold spell will last another 3 rounds and he is now currently engaged in combat with some tiny, tiny snakemen. Have fun Bari! :)

Never in his life had Seu seen someone parry or dodge both "Lion", "Crane" and "Duck", 3 of the moves he performed best !
This combo had been like a signature of his until he came up with the "Boar", "Donkey", "Dragon" combo or even his renowned "Bear", "Bear", "Bear", "Bear", "Bear", "Dragon" (a long series of top to bottom swings in the head followed by an explosive swing from ground to sky generally cutting his opponent in half).
Worst thing of all is that now the yuan-ti had managed to heal with a potion and his companions were focused on killing, no... murdering the other one... No wonder if the Lady was leaving them alone to clean this mess. He would have to redeem himself for this...
The Yuan-ti definitely was a good warrior and no conventionnal trick would get them rid of him...

"- Don't be so rigid Seu ! You know you 're always so straight and stiff ! Your ennemies will use this against you and it will tire your closest friends.
- But father ! These moves are those I've been taught by our master of arms, they must be the base of my power as the rules of the Lady are the base of my faith !
- you're so young and yet you talk like you're too old, get that youth energy out ! Those moves have been taught to you so you can find better ones in battle ! Even the rules of the Lady are more a guideline than a law you know?
- Even that one about men not kissing?
- Ahaha Seu, you will learn all that in time ! now get back in position and try to break my guard this time !
- MWAAAAAAAAAA"

The sting in his arm felt good now, a little pain had always helped him clear his mind and he had clearly underestimated his opponent.

"Let's get off the book now... Shall we?"

Change of plans : Seu is going to crush that damn Snakeman with all he's got and will stop waving his sword in the air like a moron.

only goal now => get the mofow down ASAP

I'm a huge believer of self suggetsion and changing the outcome of things with the right attitude, I always pick the dice with 6s showing when I want to roll high results and always pick th eones showing 1s when I want to roll low.
Gaming is not only about applying rules, it's about making them live.

Seeing the elf butchering the Yuan-Ti on the ground made Robin feel a little uncomfortable but he knew the pain of seeing loved ones killed by a race of creatures - Yngwie deserved his revenge.

Robin looked around him in time to see Seu execute "Lion", "Crane" and "Duck", "no wait!" Robin cried out, "don't use warm-blooded moves against them!" It was too late however... And then he heard the yelp from the snakeman, no, it was Bari. What was he doing? Wait, probably better not to ask. Rambulge delivered his solid hit, no-one quite knew who was more surprised but he had placed himself in danger.

Robin dropped his bow, drew his sword and dagger and prepared to launch himself into the fight.

that was unexpected. Right, time for some blade work, Robin is going to try to help Rambulge as much as possible if he can do so without blocking Seu.

Bari was mortified. How had he done this? He'd waded into a whole cluster of the little buggers, all slithering and slipping over each other. Biting and hissing. His eyes widened as he tried to make sense of the morass of snake things all. "Ow! Ah! Gerroff!" he yipped, flailing his legs about trying to get the damn things off.

It was only when a lone snake thing snapped at merrily dancing crown jewels above it that Bari went truly feral. It hadn't managed to stay attached - just a passing snap - but those were always the most painful, weren't they? His eyes crossed and his hands clutched at his scratchy old sack, before his knees buckled and he was covered in overexcited snake kiddies.

But moments later, Bari erupted from the glistening chaos, roaring like a wounded lion. Snake mutants flew left and right as Bari swept Piledriver in huge arcs.

"Bad! Snake! No! Dinner! For! YOU!!!!!"

A fistful of snakes flew into one of the lanterns...

Bari will continue to squeal like a girl. And beat small snake children.

Eggbert was glad that the prisoner showed a healthy interest in natural philosophy. He was tempted to expound some of his more recent ideas. But there was work to be done. Bari was in trouble and the snakemen guards were proving tough. It was time to resort to trickery.

"Thats it you leave me no choice but to call upon my giant rodent allies" Eggbert declared to any snakemen that might be near. "Come and have a feast my Mongoose friend"
Eggbert will cast audible glamour to produce the hunting cry of the giant mongoose coming from the corridoor.

After delivering such an uncharacteristically heavy blow direct to the guard's head, Rambulge wondered if he hadn't bitten off more than he could chew...the quite obviously ticked off Yuan Ti guard certainly gave him the impression it could bite plenty- he just hoped it was like normal snakes and couldn't chew.
Knowing his luck though, this mutant snake would be able to chew just fine...heavens, it gave the impression it didn't need to chew at all, just digest whole!

Regardless, the spell sword was determined to at least attempt to try and press on with the attack-hopefully this would give Seu the opening he needed to lay the guard low...

I just realised that i've been calculating Seu's attacks per round with weapon specialisation wrong - it's meant to be three attacks spread over 2 rounds (so round 1= 2 attacks, round 2 = 1 attack, then back to 2 attacks in round 3). I'm going to continue the pattern as if he'd attacked twice last round, leaving one attack for this round, and we'll pretend like none of this ever happened ;)

Casting aside his bow, Robin drew sword and elven dagger from their sheaths and plunged into the fray. Rambulge was squaring off against a vastly superior foe, and while he had managed to get a lucky strike in on the snakeman, his luck surely would not hold. The ranger ducked nimbly past the paladin (who appeared to be having some kind of flashback mid-battle) and brought his well-honed longsword down in a brutal slash that shattered the Yuan-Ti's shield and bit deep into it's forearm. He tried to follow up with a vicious knife-strike to the creature's neck to finish it but the lithe creature reared back, avoiding the blow. Rambulge, seeing his chance, thrust his cudgel forward and gave the guard a rap on his blunt, serpent nose, causing tears to well up in it's serpent eyes. The creature shook it's head angrily and reared over the spellsword menacingly, every last inch of it's muscular bulk quivering with rage!

T'Haamiti had just about had enough of this. Facing a worthy opponent like the paladin was one thing, but being made a fool of by this raggedy, inferior being who stank of unclean sorcery was the limit. Through a blood-haze of anger, the Yuan-Ti reared up and then, casting aside shattered shield and sword, dived upon Rambulge and coiled his soft, weakling body in his iron-hard coils, intent to crush the very life out of the upstart creature. Rambulge's eyes nearly popped out of his head as all the air in his lungs was expelled in a rush. His ribs ground together as he feebly tugged at the impossibly strong muscular bulk that entrapped him. Black spots started appearing in his vision... he couldn't even cry out...

Yngwie was utterly focused on his grisly task, and so was unaware of the peril the Spellsword was in. He brought his ax down on the head of the snakeman once again, popping an eyeball out, but still not able to end the awful creature's life.

Bari thrashed about with his lewd weapon, crushing snake-babies left and right, but there seemed to be an endless tide of the horrible things, driven crazy by the taste of the cleric's blood and fear. Their tiny, nipping bites weren't doing much damage, but their juvenile poison, though not nearly yet at full strength, was starting to have an effect on the priest of Lurrve. He felt groggy and nauseated, like he was on the wrong end of one of Jordann's big festival Love-Ins, and every stroke of his mace got heavier and clumsier...

Seu Antheus, paladin of the Lady, snapped out of his reverie. Whatever his past failures might be, he had a job to do here and now, and this time failure was not an option. Rambulge was opening and closing his mouth like a fish out of water, his face turning from purple to white. He would not last another round of this crushing attack. The paladin stepped forth, kissed his blade once, just briefly, then swung it with all his might, lopping the snakeman's head clean off and sending it spinning into a pit filled with snake-babies, who immediately started feasting upon it's sweet cheek-meat. The iron-like coils of it's body shuddered, then relaxed, spilling a gasping Rambulge onto the wet stone floor. The Yuan-Ti's body continued to twitch for a long time afterwards.

Eggbert could see that Bari was slowly being consumed by the horde of snake babies. Dropping the illusionary disguise that he had been maintaining over the cleric, he began a new spell to hopefully rescue his companion. "Thats it!" the gnome declared, "you leave me no choice but to call upon my giant rodent allies!" An incredible sound, like the high-speed yipping of the kobolds, only much louder and shrill, came echoing from the entrance corridor. It was the much-feared hunting cry of the giant mongoose, the conqueror and devourer of all snakes. "Come and have a feast my Mongoose friend!"

Hisston would have shit his pants, if he wore pants. Instead, he shit his weird tail-garment. The effect on the baby snakes was immediate and impressive - the whole teeming lot of them coalesced into a single cowering heap in the corner of the room, moving so quickly that it was like watching the floor pick up its coat-tails and scurry off in shame. At the same instant, a massive wave of mental pressure surged through the room, a psychic pulse in the minds of all present. It was almost as if something very powerful was stirring close-by...

Hisston raged. "What in the nine hells was that sound?! Do you realise what you have done?! If you wake the snakemother now, all is lost - you have no chance of defeating her if she is awake and aware. She will grind your bones to powder and feast on your flesh! That noise will likely bring every guard and warrior in the temple right to us, and you will be doubly doomed!" the snakeman continued frothing away like that for a bit. He was probably just mad that he soiled himself.

Bari slid slowly down the wall, his head swimming. He felt drunk, but not in the good way. He fought the urge to puke. Rambulge was likewise feeling the urge to lose his breakfast. His ribs burned as he sucked in sweet lungfuls of precious air.

"Guys..." called Yngwie, "can someone please help me kill this snakeman? I've made a real mess over here..."

Combat round 4
Robin attacks a Yuan-Ti elite with a longsword, dealing 5 damage!
Robin attacks a Yuan-Ti elite with a dagger. He misses.
Rambulge attacks a Yuan-Ti elite with a cudgel, dealing 2 damage!

A Yuan-Ti performs a constriction attack on Rambulge, dealing 8 damage! (crushing)

Yngwie attacks a Yuan-Ti elite with a guitar-ax, dealing 6 damage! (double damage)
Seu attacks a Yuan-Ti elite with Flamebrand +1, dealing 11 damage. Yuan-Ti elite is killed! 975 EXP GAINED!
Eggbert casts Audible Glamer. 100 EXP GAINED

There is a quirk in the AD&D rules that says prone creatures (like the 2nd Yuan-Ti guard) are automatically hit in a combat round, but damaged normally. After a combat round is over, any held creatures can be killed instantly. This makes for a rather cruel situation where a tough monster can be slowly beat to death like in the example we have just witnessed. My concession to this is giving weapons double-damage to those like Yngwie who are not so familiar or comfortable with physical combat, and i would give a ranger or thief the ability to instantly kill a prone target in combat due to their class' assumed knowledge and skills. Anyone can finish off the snakeman now, unless you want to try and interrogate him or something. His hold spell will last only a couple more minutes though...

Oh, and Rambulge rolled another 18 for his hit roll... amazing!

CVB, I keep meaning to get you to assign your EXP from last chapter - you can use it to gain a level of fighter class, or continue adding to your sorcerer EXP, up to you!

"Shut the spell off!" Yelled Robin, "shut it off! Drop the mongoose. Seu, check Bari I think the snake babies have done something to him..." Robin ran over to Rambulge and checked him. "Come on young man, that was a brave thing you did today and your mother would be proud but now we need to get you up."

Robin looked over at Seu in concern and where was that damn Halfling?

Seu caught Robin's look and got the message. The rnager was right, they were totaly not out of danger, in fact they probably were in a far worse situation than before entering the room.
"We should probbaly make haste and go to the Snakemother nest right away. If any of you have a good idea to help us in th coming battle, it would be wise to act quick."

Seu then moved to Bari and chased away with his flaming sword the little creatures which were molesting him.
"Are you alright friend ? Did any of them bit you? If that's the case , I'll have to suck the poison out, tell me where you were bit"
turning to Rambulge :
" Are you alright Rambulge? let me have a check your ribs"

I can't remember how many HP Rambulge has and how many points I can restore per day but I'm pretty sure a certain spellsword could use some good ol' laying of hands

Eggberts satisfaction at seeing the little snakelings scamper away from Bari was only exceeded by the comical reactions of the prisoner. But the wave of psychic energy that surged through the room was like a bucket of cold water. He let the illusory noise peter out and turned his attention to his companions. Bari and Rambulge looked to be suffering a bit, but Seu and Robin were standing victorious over one of the guards and Yngwie was laying into the other. Recalling the map, he knew that just beyond the far door was the "Ritual Room" where presumably the snake mother had her lair. He could sense from the magical emanations that this would be a dangerous foe. If at all possible, his plan would be to escape. But he could tell that his human and elf companions were intent on seeing this through. What could he do to aid them? If nothing else he could help them to sneak into the room as stealthily as possible.

Eggbert can cast Silent Portal on the door to the spawning chamber.

"I can make someone invisible, to approach our target safely and hopefully deliver the fatal blow."
EggbertI will wait until Rambulge and Bari are on their feet and to see what the others plan to do. If necessary he can make himself invisible and/or cast wraithform and go in and investigate the spawning chamber.

On all fours, Rambulge winced as he sucked in air- "I...I...think I'm...okay" he gasped wheezily.
"Just a...bit of a ....squeeze" he added, with an embarrassed look.
"We have to...slay this brood...queen...with haste"

He wasn't too sure, but he didn't think he was seriously hurt- he let the Paladin examine his ribs just the same.

( in fact, Rambulge was grievously wounded  )

Rambulge's hitpoints are currently 6/14. He got quite badly squashed and is probably bleeding inside of his chest right now (like Rick James, bitches).

Seu has either 10 or 15 healing points with his lay on hands ability (I'll look it up when i get a chance).

Bari is currently experiencing a sensation akin to drunkness and certain actions may be effected by it for the short term.

Don't forget that an angry, mutilated snake guard is about to become unbound and he will not be gentle...

Robin looked at the Spellsword in concern. He had seen similar crush injuries before; rock falls, animal attacks, ogre clubs. They could be dangerous but there were none of the major danger signs and Seu could help with his blessings; Bari was... Well Bari, the size of the snake-babies, Robin didn't think that their venom was that dangerous but he would need watching.

Then there was the splitting sound.

Robin looked up to see Yngwie still bringing his axe on the Yuan-Ti's head. Robin breathed deeply and stood up sheathing his sword and transferring his Elven dagger to his right hand. "I'm sorry my friend but it needs to be done", Robin placed his hand onto Seu's shoulder and walked over to the bound Yuan-Ti.

Robin knelt down next to the snake-creature and looked into its eyes. "This is a fit punishment for the evil deeds that you have committed. For the sake of your beliefs, I hope your next life is more deserved." Then, with the same cut that he would use on a deer ready for butchering after the hunt, Robin cut the creatures throat.

Robin will put the Yuan-Ti held by the Hold spell out of its misery before Yngwie just hacks it to death.

"You're brave and tough Rmabulge, I'll give you that but this is some serious damage you've taken here, let me help you" With the the flat of his hand on the Spellsword's chest and the words of the Lady on his lips, Seu tried to ease the pain of his friend. After a good tap in the shoulder and a wink, Seu kept for himself the extent of the damage, Rambulge seemed to always end up with severe injuries but he never complained or anything, the least of things was to stay silent and support him the best he could...

"Now Bari, tell me where you were bit, we have to get that poison out of ...
...
Oh no. Oh no no no no no no. I am NOT getting poison away from THAT bite. I'm pretty sure you'll be fine, those were immature creatures, the poison can't be that strong right Robin? Stand up and try to behave now, you may be the only parcel of Jordann's will in this place so behave like it, my friend"
Seu gave a slight slap on the Cleric's cheeck but he just regretted not getting his plated glove BEFORE doing so...

"Oh sorry brother, are you alright ? Good !"

To them all : "are we good to go now ? I somehow have the feeling that the Snakemother is not the only thing we'll encounter in that chamber, there must be food or gold there and I know one sneaky filthy creature who craves for those..."

Seu will restore 5 HP to Rambulge with his laying of hands.

EDIT :

The slap is meant to get Bari back to his normal (way to speak  ) self if that's not enough, i'll probbaly ask you guys about any remedy to get him.

Rambulge felt the Paladin's healing hands upon him and in his mind's eye he saw the Blessed Lady- though not a dedicated follower of any Gods or Deities Rambulge was nonetheless sensitive to their influence, and as he blinked in momentary wonderment at the beautiful visage of the Lady he felt his pains wash away.
The vision passed and within moments Rambulge was back on his feet.

"Many thanks to you and the Blessed Lady, Sir Paladin" he said, humbled.
"I think you may be right about what awaits us in the next chamber, I just hope little Bufo is faring well, wherever he is" the raggedy warrior mage said with not a little hint of worry.
"I'm as ready to face whatever lies beyond the door as I ever will be, I think" he said as bravely as he could, looking to his fellows.

Rambulge, I'll close my eyes for this once but do not EVER do that again. Am I being clear?

I do NOT want you to think about the Holy Lady while I'm healing you, the risk of you having a hard-on while my hands are on your body is WAY too big. From now on, you'll think about your mother or that nasty orc we killed at the entrance of the cave when I lay my hands on you but please avoid thinking about the Lady and how the soft white silk sticks to the porcelaine skin of her proud chest when she comes out of the Lake.

PLEASE

We're like medieval equivalent of bros I reckon, but you having a boner when I touch you would break the charm and would most probably leave Seu unable to perform any layin of hands for ages...

Yngwie stood back as Robin finished off the snakeman with a swift, clean stroke. Dark blood pooled under the creature’s limp carcass as Bari’s prayer released it’s hold. The elf was feeling conflicted. His thoughts up until now had been full of rage and anger, but seeing what he had done to the snakeman, he now also felt pangs of guilt. This wasn’t who he is. He was a creator, a conduit for The Music. “All life is sacred” he muttered to himself as he gazed at the death he had helped create. His guitar-ax hung limp in his grip, its body splattered with gore. He almost let it fall to the stone floor.
The minstrel took a deep breath and looked up at his comrades. In the short time they had journeyed together he had seen some weird and wonderful things. He knew them to be good men of firm resolve (except for the Halfling, who didn’t classify as either and possessed few qualities in his wobbling girth that could be considered ‘firm’ ) and he was glad for their company in this terrible place full of sad memories. He carried his instrument to the least vermin-infested corner he could find and sat down, pulling out a rag and set to cleaning his ax. He needed to reconnect with his true self. He needed to feel The Music...

Bari's head was swimming.

Or the party was swimming.

Maybe the snakes were swimming?

There was definitely swimming, at any rate. Bari remembered the guitar axe raising and falling - rowing! He stifled a giggle as he remembered the snake man's eye popping out. Hee hee! But now the snakey man was dead. Aww. And his friend too.

Suddenly, the paladin was touching him. Asking questions. He turned Bari around. Was this the moment? Was he to convert the paladin to Jordann's cause? Here in a desecrated temple of love? He let slip the sack. Ah no. Seu turned him around again, full circle.

"Did you guys feel that energy blast?" Baris slurred, watching the paladin with fascination. His face cracked into a huge smile. "That was the snake ma, huh? We're so - "

" - sucked - " muttered the paladin, squinting at the various puncture wounds all over Bari's body.

" - haha, yeah," laughed Bari, nodding. "That."

Jordann! Are you testing me?

Bari jumped as the paladin's powerful hand slapped into his right buttock. The large cleric beamed at the party, before confessing to the room: "I don't feel so good, man."

Then vomit.

"Haaaa...." Bari groaned, looking around. Realising his situation, he drew up his sack again, tying a double knot. Looking at Seu, he inclined his head towards Yngwie and said, "He okay?"

Sorry for the lack of activity during this combat - I had three half typed posts that just never got finished due to various family responsibilities. I'm assuming Bari will be in a state to continue?

I'm assuming we're going to get ready to 'go in' so the next posts will be about strategy (like Eggbert's suggestions) - just note that I want to cast Prayer before we go in there, so no heroics until that happens, k?

Seu went and kneeled next to Yngwie. He placed is hand on the elf's shoulder " What is done is onde friend, you cannot change that but you can change what you make of it, anger is the worse guidanceso let the good in you take back the reins. A man is not judges by the mistakes he makes or not but by what he makes of his mistakes, poets are to sing and enlight the world, you will find redmepton in those and the creation that goes with it. We both know it's who you are..."

Standing up and turning to the whole party :

"Gentlemen we have to talk and quick"

Your spells seem to be an idea Weismonster but what does the portal spell do ? I like the idea of having one of us in the shadows with on of the spells (Robin ?)

Bari, any pre-battle Buff is highly welcomed !

We need to split those potions between us, it will depend on who already has some and how much HP left I can heal with my ability (10 or 15 though I seem to recall it was 15). Rambulge must have one, this seems mandatory to me.

Seu would inspect the plate armours to check if they are any good to any of the members here (meaning if they are better and can be worn by some of us)

Queen's counsel should be worn by whoever has the highest charisma in our lot, we never know if some words might win us more than swords.

Depending on who we find in the room, I'll cast "punishment of evil" like I did with the ogre shaman (I finally learned that it's called "smite evil" in english) and assuming it's still making damage to the target if it hist anyone but me, it should help us a bit (maybe I'll need th epotin then)

Otherwise, if the "smite evil" (let's call it that way from now) has changed, please tell me so Lord Crooksy Crooks, beloved master of our lives, Bearer of wisdom and handsome example to us all mere mortals.
