More of my "old kit" This time old Naismith Space Marines (I like em, and in my book that's all that counts).

Another 'close-up' hardly does them justice, but that's down to my poor camera skills!

God, that takes me back too. What was the character's name? Shea? I read them all when I was a kid. Elfstones, Wishsong, Scions... I loved them. I went back to them years later and was sadly disappointed by them.

Love the Marines - I have a few myself, which might be the start of something dangerously expensive...

I've often thought of picking up Terry Brooks stuff when I see them in Charity shops - maybe I should take the plunge next time?

I wasn't sure where to post season's greeting to you all, but thought this the most appropriate place.

Hope you all have a great time with your nearest and dearest at this time of year and that those of you who celebrate such things with the giving of gifts - receive all that is given, with grace and a kind thought. :D :D :D
Enjoy

Re: A new member to the group

Wasn't really sure where to post these as all I've done is re-base these figures from WRG 6th Edition bases (yes I'm that much of a dinosaur) to Warhammer and given them a bot of renovation work (replaced spears, lances etc) ready for BOYL2014; I've also taken more pictures since but have yet to edit them, will post in due course.

Ah, what more could any Empire force need than these heavy weights leading the way.

Rules really interesting on the use of pike in 3rd Edition might be interesting to see how they work in the field!
