Re: A new member to the group

Ah, the joys of responsibility. I've just got my two daughters the paint the walls, now there's a challenge - to get both of them to be in the same room and working together! All I need to do now is - supervise. All is right with the world - for about five minutes and then it starts - now you know why I collect Orcs & goblins.

You just gotta bring those Slann and Lizards to the Rumble in the Jungle. Mind you, my pygmies are so dull and drab that one look at your gloriously coloured army should require them to take a fear test!

I have a mighty force of three of those old slann figures, which I have used as 'larval' slann (counts as skink priests) in my 6th, 7th and 8th ed games. And in 1986 I gave one of those mounted slann to a girl who had broken up with me. Erm, what was I thinking - on any level?

Padre,

No problem with bringing the figures. However, from the description/narrative/pictures on the topic board, I assume you'll be wanting individually based figures which quite a few of mine aren't, will this be OK for what you're planning? If so, I can provide you with around two hundred Slann / lizard / troglodytes; if not, it'll be about fifty.
Ah, what foolish things we do for love - You know better now I'm sure.

See you there

Hello, I have been collecting the pre slotta Dark elves...I would be really interested in seeing a photo of all of the different infantry you have .... I have a couple that are not in the catalogues and I have often wondered if there are more ... you have got a few more than I do I would love to see what you have to see if there are any I am missing.

Hi Harry,

Follow the link: http://www.collecting-citadel-miniature ... tors_Guide - I've got every figure shown, amongst them there are a few rarities - such as the female crossbow Coldone rider or the witch queen (unbroken), which are difficult to get hold of, but not impossible, if you're patient!

Good hunting

I only recently picked up the Granadier figures, so the banner-bearers are a recent addition.

A blurred picture of my Black Orcs (By Nick Lund) from the Chronicle & Grenadier ranges. I used these as rock-trolls (Sword of Shannara), before there were stats of Black Orcs!

Re: A new member to the group

Guess who only just now saw your post re: bringing slann etc to the Oldhammer event? Me! Sorry I never answered before, but to have done so would have required time travel considering I only just learned of your post!

My interwebbing skills have let me down.

Re: A new member to the group

I wouldn't worry about it, they made it up to Nottingham, and had a run out against Gaj.
