Re: A new member to the group

Thanks for that Nico,

Much appreciated Zhu, yes those are Tom Meier's Troglodytes & his Lizard Warriors, I've about 30-40 Troglodytes (painted) & about a 100 Lizard warriors painted with about the same again to paint! One day, I'll get there, one day.

All the best

Paul / Golgfag1

PS I'll try to take more pictures and post again.
How can I ever have enough stuff, I don't need.

Is that you Steve?

If so, nice to hear from a fellow Collector; how long have you been a member of this group of villains, rapscallions & miscreants? In who's good company, I put myself!

Yes it's me Paul. Haven't been here long - coming up to my first anniversary - but Oldhammer has transformed the way I view my collecting. I'm hoping for a more gamey and painty future rather than just lead accumulation :D

Re: A new member to the group

God, I wasn't expecting a response so quick! you avoiding painting the Dinning room - the same as me in the heat of the day?
Reading others messages and comments - I think most here are pretty much in the same boat Steve, vast collections of vintage lead and seeing it sitting in display cabinets really isn't what these things were made for, in my humble opinion or sat in boxes waiting to be painted to, play games against people who aren't as old as my figures!
So, I'm happy to enthusiastically join-in on these humble beginnings, and see where the wind takes us!
