Today I played the fifth scenario of my rogue trader (Pulp Alley rules) campaign with my two players.
As usual I will include a new turn for each new post.
Background:
41 millenium, Somewhere inside a space ship in orbit of a death world.
The Rogue Trader captain was nervous...
The Inquisitor had ordered to follow the star coordinates for a mysterious planet, not available in the normal stellar cartography...
He had obeyed reluctantly, he had no choice... Nobody could refuse a direct order of an Inquisitor...
He should delay is business again to follow the Inquisitor in is space crusade...
At least the Inquisitor never required to him to fight directly for the cause...
Suddenly some security alarms echoed in the ship...
Computer: "Intrusion alarm! Intrusion alarm!"
The captain looked to the displays of his desk and froze with terror...
Some Space Pirates were entering into the hull of the ship... their clothes were weird... clownish... the Jokerz!
another intrusion alarm echoed in the ship... the captain looked in another display: some eldar raiders were entering from a small warp gate!
Before he could concentrate on the new threat another alarm was activated... this time the threat was worse: Genestealers!
from another display, a communication from the Inquisitor was open:
Arago: "Captain! We have some intruders in the ship... I know because they are here... they want the star coordinates of our destination...
I suppose they will try to capture you... You must not fall in the hands of these unbelievers... if necessary you must sacrifice your life to keep the secret!"
The captain interrupted the communication with the Inquisitor and closed the armored door of his room.
Captain: "...May the Emperor save me!"

Special: The captain will be hostile to every league, until a character win the challenge, then he will follow the character until another one will take him.
The players could choocse to attack directly the captain too, to avoid that the enemy league could win the reward.
Minor plot point: a worker
Minor Plot point and Hostile bystander: Abdul Goldberg
Minor Plot point: the space pilot
Minor Plot point: the Doctor.
Special: The character that win the doctor will add him to his league as allied bystander.
Until he is base to base, the character could re-roll recovery checks.
Hostile Bystanders: Genestealers
Special: Brawl 3d6 Dodge 2d6. They are always hidden, and could run, rush or move without limitations. However they could be spotted as usual.
They will charge every character in sight or move/run toward the nearest character.
