Battle Report: The JOKER's Gambit (LAST TURN)

Suaturday I played another nice Pulp Alley game with a friend. He chose to use my Jokerz gang while I played with my Genestealer Cult.
As usual I will include a new turn for each new post.

The JOKER's Gambit

Background:
41 millenium, Somewhere in the deep jungle of a death world.

The Magus was disturbed, how dare a stupid beast to choose one of their best mothers as his meal?
The Cult would not allow that! The woman must be saved. Especially now that she was pregnant with a child that will become a powerful Magus...
Hierarch: "Master, the tracks are still fresh... the beast should be not so far from our camp, the purestrain children smell him and their mother..."
Magus: "Good... We mut move fast, we could not lost them... May the Patriarch protect the mother and her child..."

Meanwhile, not so far from the Genestealer Cult...
Dee Dee sisters: "Mr J! Mr J! We don't understand, why we are following those unfunny ugly hybrids? They are sooooo boring..."
Harley Quinn: "They are right, Puddin'! Why, why lost our time with them? The human hives are much, much more funny places..."
Joker: "Don't be so impatient my lovely little psychopathic girls, soon you will understand... and my joke will be funny, I promise! AhahahAhAhaHaHaHa!!"

Special Rules: From second turn, for each player turn, roll a D6 dice, with a 4+ the Terror will be deploued outside the mud hut and will have the initiative.
He will be a BOT Terror, without Fortune Cards. He will attack every character too near to his prey.

1 TURN

The Genestealer Cult have the initiative.

The Ogryn Hybrid, move to win its challenge, but he is too dumb and fail.


Magus: "Finally... The mother is there... Move cautiously, brothers... The Beast should be inside the mud hut... I hear his snoring..."


An ancient altar catch the attention of the Magus but he fail to win the challenge.
Magus: "This pagan altar has something interesting but I can not reveal its mystery..."


The Joker ran with joy and he is near the ancient relic.
Joker: "Sooo Nice! It will be a good souvenir of my trip in this wonderful planet!"


Harley Quinn ran toward the next minor plot point, an altar of skulls.
Harley: "What we have here? Oh! What a preeeetty collection of skulls! They are sooo sweeeet!


Dee Dee ran and she is near the mud-hat.
Dee Dee: "Dee Dee, where are you? You're risking to lose the fun..."

2 TURN

The Space Monster is awake! He comes out of its hole and he is furious!
He look aroung and see Dee Dee, the little girl is too near, then he take a big rock and thrown to her.
She is hit and is down, bu fortunatelly will recover in the next turn...
Dee Dee "Ouch!... That wasn't a nice thing to throw to a young lady..."
At least her sister finally arrive and ran toward her.
Dee Dee "Do not worry Dee Dee, I'm coming for you!"


The Magus order to the Genestealers to charge the monster, hoping they could keep him busy.
However despite their ferocity the Genestealers are all defeated and the monster is unharmed.
Magus: "What a terrifying beast! He annihilated our chosen children with ease!"


The Hybrids and Hierarch move and open fire, but nothing could injure the space monster.
Hierarch: "May the Patriarch protect us! Our weapons seem useless!"
Meanwhile the small familiar ran toward the mother, hoping to save her while the beast is distracted.


The Magus himself has his small worries, an alien monkey come out from the jungle and steal the relic from the altar, he try to catch him but fail...
Magus: "You little pestiferous monkey!"


Meanwhile Harley Quinn take the skulls for her collection.
Harley: "Cheers! I will take at home these pretty skulls and paint them with bright colors!"


The Joker take his souvenir too.
Joker: "Oh, what a pity, seem that Harley have found some most gracious souvenirs..."

I really enjoyed this game, it was funny... sure the Fortune cards help to add to the play something more

3 TURN

The Jokerz gang move and the Dee Dee sisters are again happily together.
Harley: "What are we waiting for, puddin'?" ???
Dee Dee Sisters: "Yes! Mr J we are ready for some play!"
Joker: "Patience my girls, patience, we must leave some time to our ugly friends to consolidate their new friendship..."
However he shoot to the hierarch, injuring him...
Joker: "Ops, my mistake!"


The Hierarch move and try to save the mother, but fail. However the small familiar help him and the mother is in his claws.
Familiar: "Me save mommy, yesyes!"
The hybrids move and open fire to the space monster, but again they do nothing.
the big space monster charge the familiar, he is down and lost his mother, but will recover the next turn.


Meanwhile the Magus finally captures the annoying monkey ang gain the relic.
Magus: "You pitiful creature, you wasted my time!"
Not so far the Ogryn Hybrid win his challenge too and the next turn will finally join his brothers.

4 TURN

The Jokerz make their move.
Harley charge the Hierarch, but the fight is useless
Harley: "Do you want to play with me, ugly guy?"
Dee Dee charge the small familiar and defeat him, he will not recover in the next turn.
Dee Dee: "What a cute little monster, I love him! I will take him at home as my pet!"
the other dee Dee sister move and take the genestealer's mother.
Dee Dee: "Come with me my lady!"
Joker shoot to the Magus, but nothing happens.
The Hybrids shoot to the space monsters, bu again nothing is done.
The Magus himself move and shoot to the monsters, but nothing again.
Magus: "Great Patriarch! How we could stop that beast?!"
The Ogryn Hybrid charge the Space Monster, he is injured but at least keep busy the beast.


5 TURN

Dee Dee give the prisoner to hte Joker, he take her and flees.
Joker "You will never take me! AhahAhahahAhaha!!"


Dee Dee charge the Hierarch.
Harley and the Hierarch are both injured.
Hierarch: "You crazy girls! You are interfering with my sacred mission!"
Harley: "Why are you so serious? Enjoy the fight, the life is short... really short for you!"


The Magus is shocked, the crazy Harlequin has the mother! He ran to intercept him and the hybrids do the same.
Magus: "Ignore the space monster and chase the Harlequin! He has caught the mother!"
He shoot to Dee Dee just for spite, Dee Dee is defeated.
Dee Dee: "Dee Dee! Are you OK?!"
Dee Dee: "Ouch! Not too well, Dee Dee... I could not play anymore"
The Space monster defeat the Ogryn, he is down but will recover in the next turn.

6 TURN

The Space monster is furious! The small smiling guy has steal his prey! He move and throw is rock to the joker, hitting some hybrids too.
The Joker avoid the rock, but the hybrids are hittend and defeated.
Joker: "AahahahaAhahahaAhahah!! Nice shot, my big ugly green friend! But you missed me!"
Harley and Dee Dee finally defeat the Hierarch, he is down.
Harley: "Did you see, honey? I said that your life was short... oh, I'm sorry, maybe you could not hear me anymore..."


The Joker ran away laughing, the Ogryn Hybrid and Magus chase him and shoot to him, but it's too late...
Magus: "No! This could not happen! Stop him! We could not allow that this crazy Harlequin could escape with our precious mother!"
Joker: "I'm sorry to disappoint you, my ugly friends! But I promise that your mommy will serve a a higher purpose! AhahaAahahaAhahaha!!"


Harley: "Well, Puddin'... The mommy is our now, What are your planning for her?"
Dee Dee sisters: "YesYes! Mr J we are curious too!"
Joker: "Simple! I will wait that the nice ugly child is born and then I will leave him to an human orphanage in the nearest imperial world! When he will grow he will be a problematic child, this is pretty sure! What a funny joke! AhahahahAhahahahaAhahaha!!"
Harley: "What?! Then we risked our lives just for this? We are doing the same thing that problably would do the ugly cult guys! Oh, Puddin'! You are really a sick guy! That's why I LOVE you!"
