A narrative campaign?, are you mad?!.

One of my big ambitions when i got back into 'the hobby' was to chuck all my silly ideas into an creating an ongoing narrative. I have finally come to the realization that this will not happen all by itself (unless my minis climb out of storage each night to wage war over the hobby area......which even i have to admit is a stretch of the imagination too far!) so i have decided to take a step into the unknown and just start with a start and see what happens. I have chucked together a setting i rather enjoy on my blog to create my own little campaign called:

I even did a campaign map while especially bored!( and i coloured it in!):

you can read the background on these posts:
A guide to the land itself and its history (kind of) can be found in this recently rediscovered tourist information pamphlet: https://wronghammer.blogspot.co.uk/2018/04/olde-albilande-welcomes-you.html

This unearthed news reel of the day will shed some light on the goings on that have caused the situation the campaign is based on:
https://wronghammer.blogspot.co.uk/2018/04/today-in-crivenshire.html

And this chapter lifted (with the authors permission) from the best study into the period we have to date should help to fill in the events that brought the land to the brink of war:
https://wronghammer.blogspot.co.uk/2018/05/on-lions-ferrets-and-outbreak-of-war.html

And the report of the first action of the conflict can be found here:
https://wronghammer.blogspot.co.uk/2018/05/skirmish-at-phlemm-valley.html

More to come as things get less cordial between the shires and other factions that call Ye Olde Albilande home!, i will try to keep this as an ongoing thread as more games are played.

More action from the (not entirely historically accurate) campaign of mine, this time the first major pitched battle of the war of four kings!. A contingent from Fossestershire 3rd army have been sent to prevent an outflanking move by the Proud Crivenshire 2nd. Can they stop the advancing enemy or will they fall, leaving the way clear for the Crivenshire army to sweep their comrades from the face of Olde Albilande itself!?!
You can read the latest action here:https://wronghammer.blogspot.com/2018/05/the-battle-of-st-ronays-stump.html
