I've had a go at learning the new Dungeon Crawl rules that Gareth Grot has produced...called Cavern Crawl (they can be found here: http://drumsdeep.blogspot.com/2012/08/c ... ation.html )...while I'm far from having them mastered I've had a lot of fun playing around with the. My first game centers around a small group of Dwarf adventurers who have been hired to elminate an Evil Mage and his Minions. here are a few teaser pics...a much more detailed discussion can be found in my last two blog posts

The exciting conclusion will be coming up soon....as soon as I play it out!

I always enjoyed playing dungeon games, but I never took the effort to paint all the miniatures for those games. Seeing these beautifully painted miniatures in action really motivates me to start painting my own box sets. Great work Blue, and I enjoy that you're doing this for a hotel room. I should try that sometime.

Really atmospheric dungeon tiles, they really remind me of the old Dungeon floor plans I had years ago! I am impressed with the quality of those miniature bases - how did you achieve them?

Thanks guys...I hope to finish up this game tonight and get the report up ASAP. This is the perfect game to take on business trips...I took one small box of figures and a file folder full of dungeon tiles and the rules printed out....add a few 10sided dice and you are good to go.

Thanks for the comment on the bases...they are Esentually the same as my normal system...just added too 30mm round lipped base...my favorites for skirmish style basing. They are a bit large for these tiles but can be made to work.

Here is a blog post that outlines my basing system
